"Owners were friendly and helpful and provided an excellent welcome pack."
Accommodation was as described and in a quiet village.
A pack of instructions for using equipment and local facilities would be a useful addition.
The floor had a number of unexpected steps which were disconcerting!
We would stay here again.

"It would probably be more beneficial to have a washing machine in the property instead of a dishwasher."
We, personally, did not require either on this holiday but , if we had been staying longer then a washing machine would be much more useful. Also, more equipment is needed if a dishwasher is going to be used. This is not a complaint - merely a suggestion!
We were very impressed with the property as a whole and would certainly recommend it to others.
Thank you.

"The cottage was excellent great pity your customer service doesn't even come close to matching it at this point in time."
We have had a query registered with you since the 29th June by e mail which you have belatedly replied to but failed completely to address the problem and obviously have no intention of resolving it.
We have been customers of yours for many years and still have another cottage booked with you for later in the year, but after that I think that will be it. We will source a alternative company.

!) with Milk & Butter in the fridge which was a lovely surprise!
Geoff(owner) popped in to check all was okay with our stay earlier in the week.
The cottage was bigger than we thought, clean and warm with everything we needed.
Thank you to both of you for making our stay at Ivy Cottage cosy and comfortable.

"We had a lovely weekend ."
It’s a very cosy cottage it’s very comfortable and it met all our needs the only thing I would suggest is, there’s a dishwasher which I feel for 2 people is wasted and the space would be better put to use if there was a washer/ dryer . We were only there for 3 nights but if it’s a week or longer I’m sure people would prefer a washing machine .
We arrived to homemade bread, cakes and milk which was a lovely treat . We would defiantly return . My 2 dogs enjoyed the log burner as well .

"Cottage was beautiful, spacious but cosy."
We had a lovely welcome from the owners, home made bread and cakes, as well as milk coffee and tea, and as we were there at Easter, an Easter Egg. The area was great for walks, nice meal at the village pub, all we could ask for. Look forward to making a return visit sometime in the future.

"Lovely location for a base in Yorkshire, cottage cosy although for two people it would have been better to have a washing machine instead of a dishwasher."
The washing facilities at The Owlery were for that cottage only. Parking was tight when residents had visitors. Great walks for our dog. Was told nearby pub not great for food but alright for a drink. Villagers friendly.
Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry that you were not entirely happy with the facilities at the property. The Owlery next door is an independently run property let and so the washing facilities are only for that property. In relation to the parking, there are two spaces available for Ivy Cottage, we can only apologise if you struggled with this, it has not been a problem with previous bookings. Thank you again for the feedback, it is very helpful for us to continually improve our standards.
Kind regards, Property Owner
