The property

With arguably the best views in Scarborough, this stunning mid-terrace Victorian property sits as close to the sea front as you can get from Northcliffe.

With sweeping panoramic sea views from the castle to the Sealife Centre, it provides a fabulous holiday home for families and friends to enjoy time together in luxurious surroundings.

Set over five floors, there are eight beautifully-appointed spacious bedrooms, all with their own en-suites and one with a freestanding bath situated in the bay window where you can indulge in a deep soak whilst watching the ever changing seas!

All the bedrooms boast TVs, DVDs and fridges, while six of the rooms have great flexibility with super king-size double zip/link beds.

On the lower ground floor, the bedroom has its own access, along with a larger shower, meaning it may be suitable for those with limited mobility.

The main first floor sitting room is warm and welcoming, with a cosy log-effect electric fire, comfy sofas and the most spectacular coastal vistas - don't forget to take your binoculars and watch the ships go by.

The modern well-equipped kitchen is on the lower ground floor, with the dining room adjoining, with a large family-friendly table with sits 16, where you can sit and socialize over a meal.

A second snug sitting room will be a big hit with the children, with its corner sofa, Xbox and large screen TV, providing plenty of space to spread out.

From here, French doors open onto a small yard, where steps lead up to the raised decked patio with an inviting bubbling hot tub - the height of indulgence.

Just imagine on a balmy summer's day, relaxing with friends in the warm water with a glass of wine!

With tasteful and quality furnishings and decor throughout, guests are assured of every comfort in this exceptional property, with the added benefit of plenty of off road parking, a rare find in this popular seaside resort.

Step outside and cross the road to the path that leads down to the sea front and promenade, where you can walk along from North Bay to South Bay and the small pretty harbour, with the castle ruins perched high on the cliff top.

Scarborough has much to offer, with golden sands, donkey rides and traditional seafood stalls, with cafés, fish and chips and candy floss to enjoy!

There are some excellent restaurants, tea rooms and bistros in the town, along with many independent shops.

The choice of attractions in the immediate area is enviable, including the open air theatre in Peasholm Park, Scarborough Cricket Ground, the renowned Stephen Joseph Theatre in the Round, the Sealife Centre at North Bay and art galleries and museums.

If you can tear yourselves away from the town, the surrounding countryside of the North York Moors has miles of scenic cycle routes and a wonderful network of public footpaths that take you through spectacular scenery and moorland.

With all this at your fingertips, this wonderful property provides a luxurious base for a brilliant holiday.
