We just copied and problem solved ourselves. The owners were approachable so I would suggest that others speak to the owners, unlike us shy lot!! A beautiful converted barn, with rustic charm. The swimming pool was the star of the show as we got to use it exclusively. The shower and drier in the pool area is very useful. I wouldn't recommend using any of the pool toys out equipment in the box next to the pool. It's moldy, broken, chewed or just an infection risk (snorkels) but we brought our own anyway. 2 bedrooms with ample space. We didn't sleep well but beds are a personal preference, they were too soft and moveable for our tastes. Unfortunately, the side of the master bed fell off as in disrepair and hurt my child's foot. The shower upstairs scalded my other child and my arm trying to switch it off as it was either burning hot or freezing cold. There were however, 2 other showers to use. On arriving to the property, there were old, fausty knickers left in the master bedroom. Lots of dusty webs. However, as the property is constantly rented, it must make a deep clean between guests difficult. The oven doesn't work effectively but this can be resolved by using the grill to help heat it up. The kitchen could benefit from some useful items being added, such as a colander. There was kind touches such as tea, coffee, milk and some ice lollies in the freezer. We had friends stay for a couple of days and expected to use the sofa bed. Unfortunately, on pulling it out, it was stained and damp, unusable. We solved this by buying a couple of blow up mattresses at an expense of £60. The TV has a sky remote but sky doesn't work and the bedrooms upstairs have TVs which don't work either, however, this didn't bother us. On the downstairs TV you can stream your own Netflix onto the TV to watch. The hot tub was too hot to use on the first night so we turned out down and used on the second, no biggie. The hot tub is a basic tub without powerful jets but nice to sit in and relax as the sky goes dark. To summarise, yes, a bit rough around the edges and not perfect but we would stay again for the privacy of the pool. Great for families who need privacy and maybe have additional needs and/or struggle with social aspects of shared facilities.
