The property

Willow Tree Cottage is a delightful end-terrace nestled in the coastal village of Skipsea, in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

It is the ideal holiday let for a family of four or a small gathering of friends looking to get away and explore a different part of the country.

With beautiful landscapes and an abundance of walking and cycling trails nearby, as well as seaside towns and golden beaches, choose to spend some quality time with your loved ones at this well-presented dwelling.

Step inside and find the homely living room, where you can get cosy by the woodburner set in the alcove of the room on a cold winter's evening.

The beamed ceilings and steep curved cottage stairs add a character feel throughout, a charming base to return to at the end of each day.

Make the most of the appliances in the modern-style kitchen and get together around the table in the dining room next door, to share memories of your day before tucking into a tasty meal.

Lastly, the bathroom completes the ground floor with a shower over the bath, towel rail and a tiled finish.

Climb the cottage stairs to the master bedroom and unwind with a good book under the bedside table lamp before heading off to sleep.

There is ample storage space and wooden flooring for a lovely finish and this is followed by another double bedroom offering views over the garden.

Outside you have an enclosed yard for letting the dog out and behind this a garden offset from the cottage hosting a plethora of green plants.

You have a handy Post Office, shop and family/dog friendly pub in the village, whilst the nearest supermarket is just under 2 miles away.

On the fringes of the village are the remains of Skipsea Castle, an imposing Norman motte and bailey castle dating from before 1086, accessed via a walk through a rough field.

Pay a visit to the seaside towns of Bridlington with Sewerby Hall and Gardens, and Filey with its award-winning museum.

You have a selection of beaches for fun-filled outtings with the kids as well as the beautiful city of York, Scarborough and not to be missed is a ride on the North York Moors Steam Railway.

An unforgettable trip can be shared at this welcoming cottage.
