It has been renovated sensitively and feels very fresh and contemporary inside while preserving its delightful original features. The cottage is spacious and well-equipped, with very comfy sofas and beds and a nice big kitchen. We were surrounded by bird song and beautiful walks direct from the front door. We enjoyed very good weather while it rained heavily in the rest of the country and were able to walk or cycle in the nearby hills everyday. We have already tried to book a return trip in the autumn but are not surprised to find it's fully booked! There is plentiful countryside and nearby sites of historical and interest which we are keen to explore on our next trip.
