  • "Really lovely flat with great facilities and meticulously maintained."

Very peaceful location, with beautiful views to enjoy from the balcony.

  • "Fantastic property!"

! Felt very comfortable there and was reluctant to leave. Loved being able to look out to sea, parking was a doddle and it was very peaceful. Too much to do in a week so unfortunately we have to go back

  • "Fabulous location, the sea view is wonderful."

The apartment is kept to a really high standard, properly cleaned, you would hardly know people had been using it. I don't think the building is very old. It's only a short walk to the sea or into town. Lovely place to stay.

  • "Absolutely superb apartment, wonderful views over the South Bay and Scarborough, very clean and tidy, everything you need for a relaxing holiday, private parking and excellent security system was A+."

The host very approachable nothing any trouble, would certainly recommend it to friends and family, and certainly wouldn’t be afraid to rebook on returning to Scarborough. Thank you for beautiful holiday.

  • "Perfect apartment!"

We really enjoyed our stay and loved the sea view. The apartment was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, well equipped and in a fantastic location. Having a designated parking space was very helpful. Would happily recommend to family and friends and we would definitely return to The Lookout if we come back to Scarborough.

  • "We had a lovely holiday at the Lookout."

The apartment was extremely clean and was very well equipped. We appreciated the milk, Prosecco and tea bags that were left. The view from the balcony of the sea and Scarborough was great. It was a very comfortable apartment and we felt very much at home. A lovely relaxing week. Very peaceful and relaxing. A lot of time was spent on the balcony reading. The coastal path runs right in front of the apartment. We only went into Scarborough one evening but it was very busy and crowded.

  • "The Lookout was everything it was advertised to be, it was clean, well equipped and in a delightful position with fabulous sea views."

If I had to find one small fault I would say to replace the place mats with some that could be laundered between guests, as there was what appeared to be sticky jam stuck between the fibres, but we washed it and all was okay. I would definitely rebook if I wanted to stay in the area again.

  • "Lovely apartment, very relaxing and quiet area."

Plan to return. Fantastic views over Scarborough bay. Ideal accommodation if you want to sit and watch the world go by ( watching the boats on the sea or the bunnies on the grass!) or explore the area by car or foot.

  • "We really enjoyed staying at the lookout."

It had everything you need in a holiday home and was in easy reach of all the main attractions in the area. The location was peaceful and we would definitely recommend this property if you are looking for a holiday where you can really unwind. The information pack from the owner had useful tips without being excessive.

  • "I stayed at the Lookout as I needed a quite space to do some writing."

It was perfect. The host (Rachael) went above and beyond to ensure I had what I needed. She allowed me additional hours to complete my writing before leaving and she helpfully posted back a forgotten item. I found the room unusually well equipped - all knives freshly sharpened, a great quality coffee machine and coffee, such a comfy mattress and pillows, and it was beautifully clean and nicely furnished. You can see rabbits hopping about from the balcony as well as the sea. From the building you can either walk South-East along a quiet coastal path and search for fossils on the beach or North-West along the coast to Scarborough castle and shops. I felt safe as a single female visitor and will be recommending it to my colleagues for a quiet writing spot. Thank you very much! Harriet

Cleveland way a short walk away, which leads to Cayton Bay in one direction, and Scarborough the other. Must recommend Clock Cafe and Lucy's Shack - both are located in a fabulous spot where you can enjoy a marvelous vista overlooking the spectacular beaches. Luxury accommodation and many thanks for the chocs and fizz! We will be back!!

  • "Lovely apartment."

Very well equipped and tidy. Not too far from Scarborough town. The walk to town along the coast is a bit steep so might not be suitable for all but the path along the road is good. View from the balcony is lovely and peaceful. Brilliant for a relaxing holiday.

It’s an exceptional apartment with the most amazing views. It was all of the highest quality and there was everything you could need. Would recommend to anyone and if we visit that part of the country again we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. We also met the owner who is a lovely lady and her communication was excellent.

We were lucky enough to be one of the first guests, so everything was particularly shiny and new, but it is also worth noting that the quality of furnishings and appliances is extremely high. Rachael provided useful local information and was quick to respond to our questions ahead of check-in. Thoroughly recommended.
