Northfield Road Cottages

A couple of charming detached cottages located centrally in the village of Wetwang. To fill your time during your visit to Wetwang, you will have access to several market towns such as Driffield and Market Weighton, where you will find a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. Further afield is Bridlington, found within a half an hour-drive from the cottage, which hosts Sewerby Hall and Zoo and the stunning Bempton Cliffs. Both cottages make the perfect base for a family holiday to a quiet yet exciting area.

Butterfly Cottage is a charming detached cottage located centrally in the village of Wetwang.

Next to this is the open-plan living room, comprising a sitting room with a warming woodburning stove, sofa and TV and dining space.

From here you will step through to the spacious conservatory housing additional seating, making this the perfect area for enjoying the morning sunshine.

About the location

WETWANG

Driffield 6 miles.

The small village of Wetwang is situated in the Yorkshire Wolds, surrounded by the pretty market towns of Driffield, Malton, Market Weighton and Pocklington. With a mixture of old cottages and newer properties, Wetwang has two public houses and a renowned fish and chip shop, and at one end of the village is a traditional duck pond and bowling green. Driffield is just a few minutes’ drive away and here there is a weekly market, a good array of independent shops and a supermarket. A little further afield is the small minster town of Beverley, steeped in history with its cobbled streets, fine architecture and acres of parkland and common land. Wetwang is well placed for visiting numerous stately homes and gardens in the area, including Sledmere House, Castle Howard and Burton Agnes Hall. The seaside resorts of Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough are a very easy drive from Wetwang, and here families can enjoy the beautiful, long sandy beaches and rock pools, or alternatively you can spend a day in the Roman walled city of York. Wetwang is the ideal base to enjoy the many public footpaths and cycle routes of the Yorkshire Wolds.
