  • "Perfect house to utilise while visiting relatives in York."

Totally immaculate throughout and the bonus is it is pet friendly! This property is a credit to it’s owners - well done!

  • "The house was lovely and great for visiting York and surrounding areas."

Really comfortable beds and a convenient, quiet location. The only slight niggle, and it is very slight, was there was nowhere to hang coats. We had a lovely stay, thank you.

Lovely accommodation, great location for us and would stay again, comfy beds only small things - pair of kitchen scissors and maybe an anti-slip mat for the bath/shower we also didn't realise there was a downstairs toilet until our last day as I don’t think this was on the listing

It was also in a very good location. We did update the information left about York as a lot was out of date. Overall we were very pleased with our choice.

  • "Charming owners next door, clean and comfortable accommodation."

Easy access by bus to York although road works on our visit made it impractical for us.A few small details. Not provided;tea towells, dishwasher tablets, salt and pepper -easily remedied!

  • "Beautifully presented and comfortable holiday home in a fab location for visiting York."

Great to have a large fridge and washing machine staying for a week. Would be even better with a chopping board to protect the surfaces and an oven mitt. Appreciated the little touches of having soap provided for in all bathrooms and the kitchen and tea, coffee and sugar available. Nice area to sit out in at the back and the kids were happy Netflix was available. Will definitely book again. Thanks.

  • "The location of the property was perfect as a base for travelling around."

Lovely accomodation. Everything we needed was there. Dog friendly with enclosed garden which was important. Would stay there again when visiting area.

  • "A really nice house, thoughtfully furnished and clean and tidy."

It was all as described and the off street parking was good too. It is not the property's problem, but there were broadband cable engineers digging up the road right outside from 8am every day, so that wasn't ideal from a noise and walking or driving around point of view. We found the sofas uncomfortable, but that is probably just us, the tea and coffee were appreciated, perhaps some salt and basic condiments as well would have been nice. Overall, it was a good base for our holiday, thank you.
