  • "My second visit to Tuksumduin Lodge at Cayton Bay… Excellent position on the site… All fixtures and fittings are to a high quality and the lodge is cleaned to a very high standard by the hosts Pat and Lisa."

They always go the extra mile and nothing is too much trouble. Welcome packs are really nice… wine, bread, milk and fresh eggs. If you have a dog then they also get a bag of treats and their own towel for those muddy feet. Overall a very comfortable and enjoyable holiday each time. Would definitely recommend.

The lodge had everything we needed, comfortable, spacious and very well maintained. The welcome pack was a nice touch and even a gift for the family pet was unexpected. • "Fabulous Lodge, very well equipped, very clean and also as we visited in October the heating kept us nice an warm."

The owners were close by and checked we had everything we needed. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and beyond anything expected. Dog friendly location not only is it a beautiful walk down to Cayton Bay but very close to the lodge is a small wood and enclosed area especially for dogs for that early morning outside visit they need. Our “lockdown” holiday couldn’t have been nicer. Thank you to the owners for providing such lovely accommodation.
