We were aware there was no wi-fi and accepted that situation. However, we do feel that nowadays all properties should have wi-fi if it is practical to install a phone line as it would have been here. Quite apart from being able to keep in touch while away should one wish to do so, it also makes it easy to research places to visit, check opening times and so on. Admittedly there was a good 3G signal but one of our party had reason to want to use online banking and using the public system isn't ideal. We would have been happy to have paid a little extra to have had the facility. We were also slightly surprised that there was no visitors book. The comments of previous visitors can, in our experience, be very helpful sometimes in terms of recommendations of places to go, places to eat and so on.
These comments aren't, I stress, intended as any criticism but simply as suggestions as to how the experience of visitors to the property might be enhanced.
