  • "Lovely well equipped house."

Parking in the street was not too much trouble. Very nice welcome pack. Beds were very low to the ground which made it a bit difficult to use as my wife and I are 71. Other than that perfect. .

  • "Probably rates as one of the best cottages we've rented."

Beautifully appointed. High quality fixtures and fittings. Easy walk to an excellent Spa which also houses a local butcher who sells the most wonderful meat products. Pub over the road is ok but not great. But you are only a mile walk from the cornucopia that is Grassington.

  • "This gorgeous cottage was in an a lovely quiet area and yet very central to many walks, and places of interest."

The cottage was really nicely done out and was very comfortable. It was also close to a local pub and a local Spar/Garage which had a wide range of foods stuff if required including a local butcher selling their local produce of fresh meats and ready made meals. The welcome pack went above and beyond - many thanks.

  • "Lovely, lovely cottage."

Just a few minor things that we would have liked to have been provided- no tongs for when cooking bacon etc, no grater for grating cheese so had to use a knife! Oh, and one final thing, no shaver socket in bathroom 12v, for charging shaver or electric toothbrush- unfortunately we had to buy a pack of 3 manual toothbrushes halfway through the week as it had run out. All in all though super cottage would like to return again.

The cottage had everything you needed, and was spotless. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise and very much appreciated. The location is perfect with a country pub and shop nearby. We will definitely return and can't wait to do so.

  • "Park Grange Cottage is set in a stunning location and everything you could possible need to make your stay comfortable is provided by the owner."

On arrival there was a lovely welcome pack which we thoroughly enjoyed and the cottage had been cleaned to a very high standard. Despite the age of the cottage it has been tastefully decorated and brought up to date with quality fixtures and fittings. It is also very cosy with central heating and a wood burning stove for chilly evenings, lots of hot water too, comfortable beds and lovely views over the village green. The location is perfect for walks straight from the door or short drives to places such as Bolton Abbey, Skipton, Ripon, Brigham Rocks etc. There are lots of places to eat out and a local food store and petrol station in the village. We hope to stay at Park Grange again in the future and can certainly recommend the property.

So much thought and detail has gone into it and it’s lovely. It was exactly what we needed for a week away. The welcome basket was great. I enjoyed sitting on the patio when the weather allowed. It had everything we needed for a relaxing week away. It’s in a great location in Threshfield too. If we ever come back that way we’d definitely book again.

About the location

Threshfield is a small village in Upper Wharfedale bordering the nearby villages of Grassington, Linton, Hetton, Cracoe and Rylstone, home of the famous ‘Calendar Girls’. Threshfield is a thriving local community. A few minutes drive is Grassington, one of the most charming villages in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, where you will find traditional stone cottages, galleries, restaurants and shops, which are clustered around the cobbled market place, plus a monthly farmers' market provides a mouthwatering range of organic and homemade local produce. Visitors can experience the delight of both the Grassington Festival held in June and the Dickensian Festival during December – both well worth a visit.
