This magnificent woodland lodge is located just 5 miles from the coastal town of Whitby close to the village of Egton.

As you pass through the porch and into the main open plan living area, which is double height, you will be immediately struck by the airiness and tranquility of the lodge.

Lift your eyes to the beamed ceiling and spectacular, tall windows which frame woodland vistas.

There’s a well-equipped kitchen with stylish granite work surfaces and breakfast bar for two, as well as a lovely dining area for four people to enjoy a meal together, or perhaps play a game. The sitting area has a peaceful and contemporary vibe.

Chill out on the comfortable, plush settees and get cosy in front of the gas-fired stove.

Holidays are about spending quality time together and it’s easy to imagine chatting and having fun in this convivial space. The master bedroom has a king size (5′) bed with lovely natural-looking wooden side tables and wardrobe.

Explore the cobbled streets of the atmospheric ‘old town’ and challenge your family to climb the ‘199 steps’ which lead to the Abbey ruins, you’ll be rewarded with thrilling views over the bustling harbour and out to sea.
