“Good apartment in an excellent location in Whitby.”

    - Corrina, August 2021

The property

Situated in the centre of the historic seaside town of Whitby, in North Yorkshire, is this superb apartment, resting in a larger Edwardian townhouse.

Inside, the property has been renovated to provide a wonderful base for friends and families looking to escape to the coast and access many of Whitby's finest sites.

Look forward to spending your evenings in the spacious open-plan living room, with plenty of space for you to unwind into the evening whilst catching up with your favourite shows.

Gather at the dining table to enjoy a hearty breakfast whilst planning the day's events, or use this as a quieter space to catch up on some reading of a morning with a warming cup of tea.

The kitchen has been amply-equipped with everything you could need to cook up a delicious home-cooked meal for the whole family!

The property has two spacious double bedrooms, both equipped with a range of modern furniture to store your personal items.

Delight in the family bathroom with an elegant bath and shower over, so you can enjoy a relaxing soak at the end of a tiring day.

Due to your central location, this is the perfect spot for accessing many of Whitby's finest sites, including its expansive coastline.

Spend your afternoons relaxing on the soft golden sands sunbathing, or take a cool dip in the clear waters.

Also nearby is the famous Whitby Abbey, situated in an elevated position and houses a wealth of history inside, as it was said to have been the home of the first known English poet.

Visit the 199 steps, and see how far you can get before tiring, but if you manage to reach the top, you will discover spectacular views across the town and coastline, and is the prime spot for photography and birdwatching.

Whitby also gives access to the quirky Captain Cook Museum where you can get a look into historical artefacts and information about Cook's voyages across the ocean.

Return to 1 Church Square for a relaxing evening with your loved ones.
