The property

Just a five minute walk from the harbour, is this attractive, mid-terrace Victorian property, in the popular seaside resort of Whitby.

Set over three floors, it provides an excellent base to enjoy the numerous attractions of this historic port and the surrounding countryside of the North York Moors.

Providing comfortable and welcoming accommodation, there is a light and spacious well-equipped modern kitchen, with dining facilities and a utility room leading off.

The cosy, separate sitting room offers a cosy retreat, where you can relax on an evening with the Smart TV and comfy sofas.

Three tasteful bedrooms are set over two floors, with the top-floor double boasting views over the rooftops and enhanced by a small en-suite shower room, whilst the contemporary family bathroom lies on the first floor.

Each bedroom boasts its own TV, enabling the younger guests to have their own space.

A short stroll down the hill brings you into the heart of this bustling town, with its quaint cobbled streets and alleyways, a picturesque harbour and long, sandy beaches.

Cross the swing bridge and amble along Church Street with its independent shops, to the 199 steps, which lead you up to the famous Whitby Abbey perched high on the cliff top.

Take a bracing walk along the wind swept Cleveland Way, or indulge in a cream tea in one of the many tearooms.

With numerous restaurants, pubs and cafes, there is choice for everyone.

Well worth a visit is the Captain Cook's Museum in Grape Lane and pretty Pannett Park, while in an evening, maybe a ghost walk might be top of the agenda!

The stunning scenery of the North York Moors is a must for exploring, as are the charming coastal villages of nearby Robin Hood's Bay and Staithes.

With so much to do in this beautiful area, you will return again and again to this welcoming holiday home.
