Airy Hill Farm Cottages

These beautifully converted stone barns, are set on the edge of the bustling seaside town of Whitby, just over half a mile from the centre and are perfect for families wanting to enjoy the many attractions in this historic town and the stunning countryside of the North York Moors National Park. With spacious open plan living areas, they are bright and airy, with floor-to-ceiling windows allowing plenty of light to flood in and doors opening onto small, private and sheltered patios. Tastefully furnished in a contemporary style, they have a touch of luxury, with travertine floors, Smeg appliances and comfortable leather sofas. With cosy woodburners, ideal for cool evenings, the cottages are warm and welcoming. Each property is slightly different, catering for all family needs, whether it be a ground floor bedroom or a walk-in shower. Next to the cottages is a public footpath, which leads into woodland and onto the Esk Valley Walk, whilst the nearby, disused railway, The Cinder Track, is ideal for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. A ten-minute walk brings you into the centre of this popular historic town, with a wide array of pubs, restaurants and independent shops. A must is a climb up the 199 steps to the famous abbey, or a windswept clifftop walk along the Cleveland Way.
