    We have been in the apartments many times and has always we had a most amazing holiday as it was my 70th birthday sue had decorated the apartment and left a card and a present we also had the apartment number 2 for my son and his wife and daughter so we could celebrate my birthday and my daughter in law's birthday the apartments as always were perfect Judith and Kevin and family

  • "Overwhelmed This is our second visit to the Apartment and still never failed to deliver."

    Firstly it was nice to have the apartment welcoming and warm on a bitterly cold day. So comfortable, restful and you felt at home straight away. Lovely welcome pack to greet you. A short walk into the town centre. Also it was only a short drive away to Robin Hood's Bay and where they filmed a nostalgic series Heartbeat approx 10 miles at Goathland. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

    Modern, comfortable and immaculately kept, had everything we needed for our week away. The apartment was very clean and it was obvious the owners put a lot of time and effort into keeping it to a high standard. We visited for Whitby Goth and enjoyed our stay. Sue (owner) had thought of everything and was also lovely to talk to. Would definately recommend and wouldn't hesitate in booking it again.

  • "The property was welcoming: clean, good quality linen and towels, plenty of storage etc."

    The only thing I would change is the seats at the breakfast bar which were not comfortable for any length of sit. The advantage of a garage space is important to us and this is at a premium in Whitby. The location is excellent for getting around locally. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly visit again.

  • "The property is immaculate and extremely well-run."

    From the welcoming handwritten letter ( a very nice personal touch ) coffee, tea bags and biscuits. The communication with the owners was excellent and the property has everything to hand. A comprehensive manual listing all the appliances and many other helpful tips. The large Co-op store and many other shops and restaurants are within seven minutes' walking distance. Pannett Park housing the museum and the children's playpark is directly across the road. The property as I said earlier is immaculate the sofa's are very comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped and the king-size beds offer an excellent night's sleep. The apartment is also stocked with a plethora of children's games and toys. Which are grandson who was travelling with us very much enjoyed! In essence, the owners are extremely good hosts who ensure that all the clients enjoy a very good break. This would certainly be our first choice if we choose to visit Whitby again.     Very close to the town centre (a five minute walk to the harbour) set back from the main road so noise it not an issue. The outdoor space is amazing (unfortunately it was a bit too chilly to make use of it), and secure parking a bonus. The welcome pack was a nice touch and the toiletries were beautiful (and unexpected). An early morning coffee watching the world go by and squirrels chasing around in the park - perfect start to the day ☺️. A wonderful stay in our favourite place.

    The apartment was thoughtfully kitted out with everything you need for a weeks stay. The underfloor heating made the apartment warm and welcoming. Parking in the garage was appreciated as parking is a nightmare in Whitby. I would highly recommend and would definitely book again.

The location was as promised and any communication we had with the owners was easy and informative. Therfore we can highly recommend Apartment 1!!

    All new and modern and located right next to Pannett park. Just a short 5-10 min stroll to the marina/harbour. Just bare in mind if you’re wanting to go to the beach with children thats a slightly longer trek of more like 15-20 mins to the better beach area.

The apartment itself was all we could ask for, extremely clean and tidy, spacious enough for a family of 4 and very well equipped. Would we stay here again? Definitely!

    We chose the 1st floor apartment (which is ground floor at the rear ) which gives access to a private courtyard , provided with garden seating , table ,and sunbeds . The inside is tastefully decorated and furnished with quality furniture . The upper 2 floors have balconies both front and rear . The owners Stewart and Sue have made sure everything needed for a perfect stay has been provided . We have no hesitation is recommending The Office Gardens Apartments Date of stay 11 --18 June 2021

  • "My family and I have just returned from a week long stay in apartment 1."

    Prior to arriving for our holiday I received a email detailing the extra cleaning and safe systems required for our stay.which we found to be above and beyond guidelines and were very grateful at this time when cleanliness is key.details for key collection and parking we’re also in the email. On arriving we found the owners have thought of everything for a comfortable stay in Whitby. Greeted by a welcome tray with tea, coffee and biscuits and a personal note from the owners. The apartment itself is perfect for up to 4 people. Clean modern set up. We had the added value of the courtyard at the back of the property which we found perfect to chill out after a days exploring the area. Whitby is a 5 min walk away and further afield you have Filey and Scarborough a short drive away. Looking forward a return stay next year. Things that didn’t make for a totally relaxing time but I must stress are out of the control of the owners are. New buildings going up next door mean you get noise through the day from 7:30am and this also affects parking. We were blocked in a couple of times but when asked to move by myself or Stewart one of the apartments owners, the contractors moved their vehicles straight away. The building works look almost complete so I’m sure the problems won’t last much longer. Thank you to sue & Stewart it’s a great place

  • "The apartments had everything required to make our stay in Whitby even more enjoyable."

    The owners have definitely gone the extra mile with everything from underfloor heating to a state of the art fire protection system and tinted glass windows for extra privacy. The location is ideal for the local park which is lovely to walk around, and only few minutes walk to the town centre. On a personal level I had a problem with the firmness of the mattress and pillows on our bed and found it hard to get comfortable. But some people might prefer them. The only issue that currently needs addressing is contractors, who are working on a housing development at the side of the apartments, and their parking habits. To be fair, one of the owners who works in a building next door, had a word with a couple of contractors and they moved their vans to help keep our designated parking area clear.
