The property

This charm-filled terraced cottage sits over three characterful floors, in the very heart of ancient Whitby in North Yorkshire.

This four-person property is the perfectly welcoming retreat for groups of family and/or friends looking to discover the fascinating wonders of Whitby.

The property rests on a shared courtyard, step up inside and reveal a homely sitting room.

Modern seating combines delightfully with a period fireplace housing a warming gas fire for the cooler evenings.

A galley-style kitchen/diner rests beyond this, offering a useful range of appliances and a lovely dining table for those hearty home-cooked meals.

Traditionally steep stairs take you to the first floor, where you will find a charming family bathroom.

Also on this level is the master bedroom.

A king-size bed joins characterful exposed floorboards and panelling, as well as a stunning feature fireplace.

A further staircase takes you up into the cosy eaves of the building, find here a set of twin beds, the room is enhanced by exposed beams and the property's original redbrick chimney breast.

Discover Whitby's list of attractions within a simple stroll, from its abundance of shops and restaurants to a number of activities to occupy all.

Be sure to visit the famous Whitby Abbey, reached by 199 steps and offering magnificent panoramic views.
