The property

Farriers Yard is a beautifully converted ground floor apartment, overlooking the upper harbour in the historic port of Whitby.

Conveniently placed just a short stroll from the seafront, this light and comfortable apartment is perfect for couples and small families to enjoy the many attractions in this popular and lively seaside town.

With a fresh modern feel to the accommodation, the open plan living area is bright and welcoming, with a well-equipped kitchen tucked away, a separate dining area and comfy seating where you can relax and enjoy the glorious view of the boats on the marina through the large picture window.

Two small steps lead up to the bedrooms and shower room, two very restful rooms with quality beds and linens, ensuring a good night's sleep.

From the double bedroom, patio doors open onto a sheltered, enclosed courtyard, a private spot to sit with a glass of wine in the afternoon sunshine.

Just a five minute walk along the side of the harbour brings you into the hub of this quaint and bustling seaside resort, with its quirky narrow streets and unique swing bridge.

Amble along to the cobbled market square and then climb the 199 steps up to the famous abbey, perched high on the cliffs.

There is an abundance of restaurants, tea rooms, pubs and cocktail bars to entice you and the renowned fish and chips are a must.

The long, sandy beaches are a hit with everyone, whether it's building sandcastles, crabbing in the rock pools, paddling in the sea, or hiring a deck chair for the day.

The brave at heart may be tempted by an evening ghost walk or the Dracula Experience, or why not book a boat trip to go whale and seal watching?

The surrounding scenery of the North York Moors National Park is just stunning and well worth exploring, by foot, bike or car.

Take a nostalgic ride on the steam railway from Grosmont to the market town of Pickering, discover the pretty coastal villages, or for a rainy day, visit one of the many stately homes in the vicinity.

With so much to do in this wonderful corner of North Yorkshire, guests will return again and again to this charming apartment.

Note: This apartment is below Ref. 1005039, together they sleep 11.
