  • "Ticked every box."

Free parking by the property. 5 Minute walk to centre. Cottage spacious, spotlessly clean, lots of storage space, lovely decor, good kitchen facilities, very generous 'welcome' box, generous supply of provisions Very comfortable bed and fab shower. Heating required on one day only during my stay - brilliant - therefore must be very cosy in winter. Only one problem. We don't do SKY TV at home. An 'Idiot card' with simple instructions re use would have saved us an hour of working it out!! Thanks

Thankyou for your lovely review Sarah and I'm so glad that you enjoyed your stay. I have taken your comments onboard regarding the Sky TV and produced a little guide for future guests. Property Owner

  • "For people that have mobility issues, this property is not for you."

there are a number of steps leading down to the property and once inside there is a staircase down to the shower room and bedrooms. saying that, the cottage was immaculate and well presented everything you needed was there and to top it all the North Yorkshire Moors Railway ran at the end of the garden. I would recommend this property

I am sorry that the property was not for you Alan, Hudson Cottage is not a bungalow so it does have a staircase leading down to the bottom floor. Thankyou for recommending the cottage and I hope you had a lovely stay in Whitby and find more suitable accommodation in the future. Property Owner

  • "The cottage is a short walk to Whitby."

It has it's own parking which is a bonus as it can be very busy in the town. The views are spectacular and also to sit and watch the NYR steam train go past is wonderful.

  • "Lovely cottage."

Central with fantastic views. We came the day the lockdown travel restrictions were lifted in April 2021 so we weren’t sure what to expect but the property was so clean and welcoming. Loverly welcome basket was waiting for us (the wine went down well)
