    “The cottage was advertised as 2 bathrooms but when we got there there was only 1 which was a inconvenience to us due to my disability plus the beds were too hard for my party and me .”

    On the plus side we thought everything else was excellent.

The property

This cottage has been thoughtfully furnished and decorated to create a welcoming and comfortable holiday environment located close to the Old Town part of Whitby with a variety of interesting shops.

The beach and harbour are within short walking distance and the iconic Abbey and 199 steps a short stroll away.

Crossing the swing bridge to the West Cliff side of town will widen the choice of bars, restaurants and shops.

Here you may also access the beach which at low tide provides a lovely walk along to the wonderful unspoilt village of Sandsend.

The cottage provides accommodation over three floors.

The ground floor has open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, dining area for four guests and comfortable sofas for you to relax at the end of the day.

The first floor has a zip and link bed in the master bedroom which provides either a super king sized bed or two singles.

There is also a bathroom on this floor. The second floor has a further bedroom with king size bed There is no dedicated parking for this property although there is ample on-street parking on a first come, first served basis.

There is a small outside yard with a bench for you to enjoy the seaside air and reflect on your day of exploring.
