  • "The boiler has an issue."

    I had to repressurise it three times in two days and even then the pressure drops off super fast. You should get that checked. There’s no thermostat i could find (and I checked the manual) so it was really difficult to maintain temperature - it was either freezing or too warm. There seemed to only be a single roll of toilet paper that we could find. And finally, there’s no parking anywhere near - we had to park far off. I don’t want to penalise you so have chosen not to publish the feedback, but I hope you can look into some of these items for future customers.

  • "The apartment is in an absolutely fantastic location and is really spacious."

    It was perfect for our family holiday. I think the advert is a little misleading when it states roadside parking as that implies there is roadside parking at the apartment. However it isn’t by the apartment as the road the apartment is on is a double yellow road. It isn’t something that would have stopped us going but I do think more accurate apartment listing details is necessary. Especially for people with walking difficulties (or a young family!) Our family loved the space, the top floor isn’t an issue for buggies as we left ours in the shared entrance way. Please note there are more stairs in the flat and not possible to have a stair gate. My toddler was old enough to enjoy the climbing. All in all, a lovely flat and a nice holiday in Whitby!

  • "We had a lovely stay in Leesholme Loft and found it exceptionally clean which in my opinion is the main thing."

    All the facilities within the loft were what we needed with a few other extra special touches that makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable. My only couple of little issues we had, were that, on the heavy rainfall night, we had a couple of leaks on the go that we managed to salvage with pots and pans. Luckily this did not spoil our stay. Also, parking up whilst unpacking and repacking the car was quite stressful because of there being nowhere to really park up, even for a shortwhile. Also, we booked over Bagdale area because we knew Pannett Park was very handy, especially with us having a dog, however, to find that dogs aren't welcome in the park. I know this is out of your control, but I feel it's something holidaymakers should be aware of, before thinking the same way we did. Other than this I would absolutely recommend it for a pleasant stay in Whitby and would happily revisit ourselves as a family.

  • "The roof leaks after a heavy rainfall—the sitting/dining room carpet was wet on our arrival."

    One wardrobe for the flat is inadequate and there is no clothes storage at all in the double bedroom. There were used containers of condiments left in the cupboard and the right hand cupboard door handle was broken.

  • "Location was excellent."

    Flat was nice and clean. WiFi was strong. Listing includes parking facilities which is inaccurate. The owner was helpful in recommending parking options but the listing should be changed. Both bedrooms could do with black out curtains as the blinds do not keep out the early morning light. During some heavy rain the hall and living room suffered roof leaks.

  • "We had a great stay at Leesholme Loft, the apartment was brilliant, nicely decorated and spacious and in a great location, very close to the centre of town."

    Two very minor comments- lack of freezer box in the fridge limited the ice for the G&Ts, and the towels provided are a little on the small side so if you like a big towel you may wish to bring your own! But we’d happily stay again!!

  • "Hi. The loft apartment was lovely, brilliant central location, good facilities, clean and tidy."

    However unfortunately we arrived on one of the hottest days of 2021 and as soon as we went in we thought we may have a problem with the heat. In the evening and night it was stifling and we had to be careful opening some of the windows because they were really low and we had two dogs and because it was on the main road it then became noisy. We decided to leave early only due to the heat and have fed back to the owner that some form of air con unit would be ideal. As I said we were met with unusual weather but if you are going at a cooler time of year it would be perfect

  • "The house was in a lovely location and was very comfortable however we had an issue with the roof leaking on our first night ."

    We try to contact owner but got no response, also yourselves tried to and got no reply. We had to deal with wet carpets which with two toddlers crawling around was not good . Also the on street parking was non existent and we had to pay £9 day to park . Another issue was the WiFi code didn’t work

  • "The loft apartment is in a perfect location and decorated lovely… only draw back is the nearest available parking being away from the property (despite the advert suggesting it’s roadside)."

    We phoned the guy on arrival to check and he was so helpful and directed us up the hill towards Beevers shop where there was free parking but it did make unloading/loading the car a slight pain. Otherwise - can’t fault it!

  • "Very nice property in a fantastic location."

    I do have an issue that needs looking into though. The advert for the property did say there would be on street parking available. This was not the case as there are double yellow lines for some distance. I, therefore, had to pay an extra £9.00 a day for parking which had not been taken into consideration on costing the holiday. I am £63.00 lighter in pocket. I would go back but guests should know about the lack of parking and the advert should be amended.

  • "The owner goes out of his way to provide a great family holiday for anyone staying."

    The accommodation was clean and well spaced out and he provided the following: Bedding, towels, cleaning materials and good old Yorkshire Tea Bags, Suger and Coffee. I did have to speak to him with a electrical problem, but it turned out to be local and not the property, he was helpful and courteous. The only drawback I have found with this and other properties is a router for internet, tv etc as the local TV reception is very poor. The property would not suit someone with disability’s as it’s in the loft at the top of a 4 story building. But a Big Thank You from us. Regards Chris Thomas
