Settled at the centre of Whitby, you're ideally placed for exploring some of the most wondrous attractions of North Yorkshire; venture up the iconic 199 steps to the Whitby Abbey and take in the stunning views of the harbour, or take a stroll onto the beach itself and soak in the sun while the little ones build sandcastles.

For the adventure seeker, the North York Moors National Park makes a marvellous day out, with spectacular scenery and nature like no other, it's well-worth a trek or two.
