  • "We recently stayed at Stowaway Cottage in Whitby for 4 nights with our dog and had a wonderful time."

    The cottage is in a fantastic location, with an easy walk into the town centre and harbour, while West Cliff and the beaches are also just a short stroll away. It was ideal for us and our dog, with plenty of places to walk nearby. The cottage was very clean, spacious and well maintained throughout. The large bathroom was a particular highlight, featuring a modern walk-in shower with plenty of room. Overall, Stowaway Cottage provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay in Whitby. Comfortable accommodation, great facilities and an excellent location. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would happily recommend it to others visiting Whitby.

  • "The cottage is in a great location and is both clean and comfortable as described."

    The only thing that we missed was a TV in the main bedroom, otherwise it would have being five stars out of five, Enjoyed our stay and will be rebooking again, thank you.

    Being school holiday season I was concerned about parking but luckily we got a space in the zones with the card provided. they are like gold dust as soon as we moved someone pulled in. We all Loved the area, if you don’t like hills don’t go to Whitby

  • "The only thing that could be improved is the duvet cover on yhe double bed."

    The press studs were broken and the duvet cover kept rolling up in the night and coming off, which didn't feel very hygienic. I enjoyed the stay otherwise. Lovely property and excellent location

  • "Had a great stay unfortunately we had 3days as car broke down on Friday couldn’t get down till Tuesday so we payed £678 for three days not one sign of some refund."

    That was not our fault so I would not recommend paying a year in advance.

  • "We enjoyed a few days in Whitby for my friend's 70th birthday and Stowaway cottage was a warm, comfortable place to stay."

    Clean, well equipped and plenty of space for us and our canine companions. As older visitors a handrail at the door to help us up the step would be welcome as would another in the shower (I was using the towel rail for support). Somewhere to hang towels would be useful.
