“The lodge is everything you would want for a relaxing holiday.”We were met by the owener, who was so helpful and so kind. There was a beautiful crusty loaf, pot of jam, milk , cream cakes and a bottle of wine. The owener had the kettle boiled for us arriving. The lodge was spotless , so close to many places we visited. We were very fortunate with the weather and the sun shone all week. Dog friendly as well. I would recommend this lodge to anyone. I'm looking forward to another visit. We were met by the owener, who was so helpful and so kind. There was a beautiful crusty loaf, pot of jam, milk , cream cakes and a bottle of wine. Just a few miles away is the village of Warter, which is where David Hockney produced his 'Bigger Trees Near Warter' painting. Nearby are various cycle ways including the North Sea Cycle Route and walkers will love either the long distance walks along the Wolds Way or one of the many more circular walks in the area for all abilities.
