The property

Chalet 235 is a delightful holiday cottage based at South Shore Holiday Park in Wilsthorpe, East Riding of Yorkshire, by the coast.

Internally, the property is a welcoming space with a small sitting room, which is a great place to relax and unwind after a long day sightseeing.

The kitchen is wonderfully appointed to the front of the cottage, with all the appliances you could need to cook up a storm for the whole family.

The ground floor also hosts a shower room and two single bedrooms, ideal for those with limited mobility.

The first floor has one double bedroom with ample storage space for your personal items.

To the side of the cottage, there is a small, enclosed patio and decking area with furniture, a wonderful spot to sit out and enjoy the afternoon sun with a refreshing glass of wine.

There is ample off-road parking available.

The beach is just a five minute walk, with direct access from the holiday park to long, golden sands, where you can walk for miles.

The nearby town of town of Bridlington offers a range of local attractions including Sewerby Hall and Gardens, a Grade I listed building set in 50 acres of landscaped gardens.

Dating back to Georgian times, it showcases a wealth of history with woodland walks and a zoo.

Or take a trip toward The Bayle Museum, an early 12th century museum containing historical artefacts.

The RSPB Bempton Cliffs has scenic views and nature trails with the opportunity for spotting seabirds.

Chalet 235 is the perfect base for exploring all the East Riding of Yorkshire has to offer.

BRIDLINGTON

Filey 10 miles; Scarborough 20 miles.

The seaside resort of Bridlington lies on the east coast of Yorkshire, south of Scarborough and Filey. Two award-winning beaches of golden sand stretch out on either side of the historic harbour, bustling with activity. Beautifully designed promenades provide everything from fun-fairs to quiet places where you can sit and watch the world go by. Shops, attractions, restaurants and the historic 'Old Town' of Bridlington offer a fascinating contrast to life on the beach, where the latest Dad's Army has been filmed, whilst the Bridlington Spa Theatre on the front provides evening entertainment. There is also the East Riding Leisure Centre, with family swimming area and a variety of other indoor activities. Further afield are the picturesque villages and scenery of the Yorkshire Wolds, the neighbouring resorts of Filey, Scarborough and Whitby and the spectacular heritage coastline. There are numerous places to visit in the area, including Bempton's RSPB bird sanctuary, Sewerby Hall, Danes Dyke and Flamborough Head with its cliffs and caves.
