"This is a beautifully presented spacious and well equipped holiday cottage, very comfortable with everything that you could need."
The welcome pack with bread, milk, butter & eggs was a lovely bonus and the dogs were very pleased with the packet of treats! Nice, enclosed outdoor area with seating and BBQ and a pub next door which was friendly & welcoming. All in all an excellent place!
Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay, and very pleased the dogs enjoyed their treats. Appreciate the review, and hopefully we will be able to welcome you back. Property Owner

"A superb cottage which has been restored and updated to an exceptional standard."
Very warm, modern and comfortable. The decor, fixtures and fittings are tasteful and well presented. The most important factor is that the standards of cleanliness are very high. The cottage was immaculately clean (Mum in law is a cleaning addict - and even she was very impressed.)
So pleased we passed the test with the mum-in-law! Thanks for the great review, and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Property Owner

"Had a lovely stay and loved the countryside village feeling."
We only slepted there as most our days were days out exploring and fun days. The house was very clean and had pretty much everything you could need. Only bad bit was noise from passing traffic, but that's a giving in a small village. Overall we had a great time ☺️
Thanks for the positive feedback! The road can get a bit noisy at times, but the acoustic insulation and glazing tends to keep most of the noise out. The road might have been particularly busy during your stay, due to the school holidays nearing the end. Property Owner

"A superb property that suited our needs for a couple of days."
Would happily book again when we visit East Yorkshire. The little touches such as bread, butter and milk and drink sachets, as well as dog treats on arrival at the house, add to a very relaxed and enjoyable stay.
Thanks for the great feedback. We look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit! Property Owner

"We only stayed for short visit, we have family in Langtoft ,and we had new grandson just born, so when I found this cottage it meant our daughter and her children could join us so we all got together as a family."
The cottage was absolutely perfect in every way, so well equipped , everything was just so lovely. Definitely would stay again, and recommend it to friends. The only negative thing was ,it was very warm evenings , but we had to close windows and doors early as really strong smell of weed coming into cottage , from pub next door . Other than that top marks.
Thanks for the positive review. So pleased you liked the cottage. I wasn't aware of pot being smoked right next to the cottage, and neither was the Landlady of the pub. She has assured me that she will take steps to prevent it happening again. Property Owner

"The cottage was first class, clean, comfortable and well equipped."
On the second evening there was a blockage in the main bathroom toilet. We contacted the number for the caretaker and received a call the next morning from Neil who arranged to come out and sort the problem. We were going out for the day and when we arrived back at tea-time everything had been sorted. Excellent, very courteous service. We would definitely recommend Staveley Cottages and award a five star rating.
Thanks for the great review Len, and pleased the weather stayed good for your visit. Hopefully we'll see you again at some point in the future. Property Owner
