“Quiet, beautiful surroundings”
“Ours was a last minute booking at three days notice and it was a little difficult to contact the owner to get details as to how to access the flat.”
When we did manage to contact her it was disconcerting to be told that she had double booked, but as we had rung first , we could have it. Apart from that, we had a thoroughly enjoyable week. The flat was all that we had expected with a large and very comfortable bed, but the biggest benefit was its position. To be able to walk straight into the Museum Gardens and across them into the city, or turn the other way straight onto the banks of the river was excellent. We stay in York fairly often, but this was the most enjoyable week we can remember.
