The flat was nice although boiling and the lady who showed us round seemed to have no idea how to turn it down when we asked. I don’t know why but you can’t seem to rebook the flat and when I enquired about rebooking you get no reply which puts me off completely. When we were showed round as well the lady who did so bitched a bit about previous holiday renters which was a bit uncomfortable especially because it sounded unfair what she was saying. I liked the flat itself but was left with a bit of a sour aftertasteMarianneeve1992,

It was the perfect location o do so and the fact you could peek round and see the monster from the windows was fab. It's on the no car zone so if you're looking to unload a car you'll need to do it outside of those times, we went after work so wasn't an issue. The car park space is a ten min walk and is small but we had no issues parking the mini! I do think I could have fit my car (focus Size) in it too, thanks to all its parking sensors! The bedroom was the best room and was well decorated, I just wish there had been some Curtains and or nets/voiles as the blinds were restrictive and there is a church yard with some kind of little visit centre shop opposite so one morning I opened the blinds to find someone taking a. Good look as I did my makeup! The bathroom and kitchen areas have seen some use but were fine for what we needed and clean. The lounge had just had a sofa break so only had one when we visited which was disappointing too as we'd planned a lazy sofa day and it was a struggle with one small sofa! For the price and location though it cannot be faulted!Learnsh,

I have been visiting York for many years & it is a beautiful city that I have enjoyed introducing my husband & daughter to. What an amazing find this apartment truly was. . . Clean, comfortable & everything you could want from a holiday home. We were very central to everything York has to offer, but the apartment is amazingly quiet considering its prime position. The view of the Minster is lovely & the church that the apartment looks over is well worth a visit. All in all a very memorable week in a truly lovely apartment, would highly recommend. We will definatley return.mikeysdinners,
Minster Secret Garden is a first floor apartment in the heart of the stunning medieval city of York.
This lovely apartment is almost hidden within York's Minster Quarter with the Minster at its core and the walls around its border, and is ideal for a romantic break.
The apartment offers the best of both worlds, a private oasis in the very heart of York, coupled with its amazing location tucked away from the busy thoroughfare of Low Petergate.
This attractive apartment is approached through wrought iron gates leading to a most beautiful and leafy communal garden with a private view of The Minster.
There is a staircase or lift to the apartment and through the front door there is an open plan living area which offers guests the choice of cooking a delicious meal in the well-equipped kitchen or just relaxing after another memorable day.
The bedroom and sitting area overlook The Minster Choir School and the Church of Holy Trinity on Goodramgate dating back to around 1082.
The king-size bed provides a blissful night's sleep and there is a sofa bed for extra guests, together with a bathroom.
There are beautiful views from most of the windows in the apartment.
Low Petergate is one of the most picturesque in the Quarter and is named after the Cathedral of St Peter known as The Minster, steeped in history and rich in architecture.
The apartments have been superbly weaved from a 300-year old building which was latterly a girls' school educating some of the most important women in Britain.
It is a very peaceful place, despite its closeness to the hustle and bustle of the surrounding medieval streets.
York is a most beautiful city overflowing with history.
For a great appreciation of the city, take a boat trip along the River Ouse or a sightseeing tour by bus.
If walking is your preference, take an elevated tour via the walls.
At over two miles long, they offer an incredible opportunity to take a bird's eye view of the city including a new vista following a restoration project.
The choice of museums is endless, including the National Railway Museum, Castle Museum and the Chocolate Story Exhibition to delight your taste buds!
Of course, no visit to York would be complete without the quintessential afternoon tea experience at Bettys world-famous tea rooms.
A superb apartment in a truly spectacular city centre location.
