The main garden entrance in this Cawood cottage has a tiled hall and a beautiful, original stained-glass front door.

The spacious bedrooms in this Cawood cottage are tastefully furnished, with the king-size room offering a separate dressing room and an en-suite bathroom, whilst also on the first floor there is a twin room, which offers great views.

On the second floor is a double and a twin room, which share a seating area.

Outside this York cottage is a large, enclosed, lawned garden with a barbecue area, a lovely spot to sit and relax.

Beyond the high walled boundary of this Cawood cottage are riverside walks, whilst a short stroll will bring you to one of three inns, and also Cawood Castle, immortalised in the classic nursery rhyme Humpty Dumpty.

A fifteen minute drive to visit the historic city of York is a must, with its spectacular Minster, famous cobbled Shambles, National Railway Museum, Jorvik Viking Centre and River Ouse.
