The property

A stunning, semi-detached Grade B listed church conversion providing spacious, comfortable and stylish accommodation with a touch of luxury, set in the pretty harbour village of Avoch.

Tower House has been beautifully refurbished to provide a quirky and unique location for your holiday in the Highlands.

An impressive central spiral staircase connects the different levels of accommodation, and from the top level, guests can look down to the central sitting room on the ground floor.

Situated off the central sitting room is the library with comfortable sofas.

On the other side of the central sitting room you will find a large, split-level, exceptionally well-equipped kitchen with a sociable dining area.

Also on the ground floor is a double en-suite bedroom, a handy cloakroom and a utility room.

As you make your way up the staircase, you will pass the other bedrooms, all of which have their own en-suite facilities, and at the top level is the fabulous main sitting room, with its high-arched ceiling, and windows offering views across the village, the Moray Firth and to Chanonry Point.

Large, comfortable sofas are set around a cosy woodburning stove and a section of this room is split-level, giving access down to a quiet reading area.

At the opposite end of the main sitting room, stairs lead up to the turret snug - a quirky little room hidden away from it all!

So much space and comfort is provided in this excellent holiday home, meaning it’ll be hard to leave, but the area is one of great natural beauty and there is much to see and explore.

A few miles further along the coast brings you to Rosemarkie, which has a wide bay and one of the finest beaches on the Moray Firth Coast, it is also one of the best locations in the United Kingdom from which to spot dolphins.

For walkers, cyclists, golfers and wildlife lovers, it’s all here in abundance!

A fantastic holiday home in a wonderful area.

About the location

AVOCH

Fortrose 2 miles; Inverness 11.5 miles; Dingwall 13 miles.

The pretty coastal village of Avoch overlooks Avoch Bay and is situated on the south side of the area, known as The Black Isle, in the magical Scottish Highlands. Once a busy fishing village, today it is home to many pleasure crafts and this gives the village a relaxed holiday atmosphere. The narrow streets run at right angles to the shore, with their pretty stone cottages and excellent local facilities, including shops, pubs and hotels. From the quaint harbour, there are daily sailing trips out onto the waters of the Moray Firth where dolphins thrive in abundance. Avoch is also well situated for touring the area and exploring the many villages along the Moray Firth coastline. From this central location, Loch Ness, Inverness, Skye and the Cairngorm National Park are all within a pleasant drive, making Avoch an excellent base for discovering this beautiful corner of Scotland.
