  • "We had a fabulous 2 week stay here and would highly recommend."

The lodge is so warm, comfortable, well equipped. Claudia was so helpful during our stay without being intrusive - she even brought a camping stove in case we had a powercut. The lodge has essentials such as hand wash, toilet rolls, washing up liquid, and milk, wine, fruit and flowers were awaiting us - so kind, thank you. Our 2 little yorkies enjoyed the walks on our doorstep. The garden isn't enclosed so they were kept on leads at all times which wasn't a problem. We would love to return in the future.

If peace and quiet you want then this is for you. The lodge itself is spotless and has everything that you could wish for. It was well worth the 11 hour drive to get there. Will definitely book to go again maybe try the summer months because I bet it’s stunning waking up in the mornings sitting on the balcony with a coffee just watching the world go by.

Slightly out of the way therefore peaceful, but I would class central to get anywhere, we went south, east and north all within longest travelling of 1.5 hrs but the scenery was breathtaking and well worth it. The lodge itself was fully equiped, clean and comfortable, I will be certainly booking this property again, Claudia an absolute pleasure to deal with!!!

  • "For the amount of money the holiday cost for 7 nights, the bed in the main bedroom was a very standard 4’6” and very uncomfortable with foot board for anyone who’s tall like myself would struggled with it, as you could of lost a super king bed in the main bedroom."

Bedding was poor quality and duvet cover didn’t do up as clips were melted. Balcony up stairs had no seating on it and would have been nice to sit on with a drink in evenings to enjoy the beautiful views. Also the balcony’s were covered in dust and cobwebs. But all moaning a side it was a lovely lodge to stay in and would go back there. Just needs some TLC and homely touches. Thanks for a nice week away.

  • "This was a truly excellent lodge to stay in."

Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, well equipped, TV with virtually every streaming service and above all a beautiful setting. The dawn chorus and the evening sounds of deer rutting gave a tranquility to the whole place. We arrived to fresh flowers, fruit, wine and milk kindly left by the owner. I have stayed at various holiday homes over the years and can honestly say that the level of attention to detail and comfort at Allt Lodge is among the absolute best. The owner mixed professionalism with warmth in all her dealings with us and was a pleasure to chat with. The Lodge is ideally situated for scenic walks both locally and further afield. It is also a short drive (5 mins) from Drumnadrochit which has a delicious pub eatery ( The Fiddlers) as well as takeaways, food shops, gift/art shops and Loch Ness exhibition centre. We had some mixed weather during our stay but because of the lodges proximity to spectacular countryside but also to Inverness etc, we were able to mix walking on sunny days with visits to the botanic gardens and a local whiskey distillery on rainier days. I would most highly recommend Allt Lodge

  • "Wow what a wonderful, well made, charming and well equipped lodge."

We could not have been more happy with the standards at Allt lodge. There is everything you could possibly need for your stay and the attention to detail from the owner is 10/10. The lodge itself was spotlessly clean and it has been made to a very high standard, the joinery and carpentry is really quite impressive, and the finishings are clearly top quality. There is a fantastic bubble bath for relaxing in and soaking away the day’s activities. There is washing machine and dryer facilities and the kitchen has everything you need including a very quiet dishwasher which was a pleasure to use. The owner Claudia was so helpful with all of our enquiries and she left fresh fruit, milk and wine for us as a welcoming gift which was lovely and much appreciated. The lodge is situated in peaceful farmland where you can really relax and enjoy the tranquility. At the same time it is only a 10-15 minute drive from the village and shops etc. We can’t wait to go back for a second time.

  • "Lovely calm and relaxing place to stay."

Claudia was really helpful and really great to talk to. Giving us ideas of places to go. A couple of suggestions, but don't put the place down at all as you can manage without. 1. A small dresser in the bedrooms near a plug, so us ladies can dry our hair, and see what we are doing lol. Had to stand up and stretch to see in the wardrobe mirror. 2. Some seating on the upstairs balcony, would have been nice to have peace from the family, if someone needed it. That's all. Told you it wouldn't matter. Overall a great stay. Ps. If you tag your photos in face book, do not tag them as being Lochletter lodges. This property is not part of them.

Loads of storage space in bedrooms and at front door for coats/boots etc. I loved waking to farm yard sounds in the morning and the lodge is about a 3 minute walk away from a secluded entry point for Loch Meiklie.
