  • "We really enjoyed our stay."

The cottage was spacious and very comfortable. The position of the cottage is perfect for exploring the area and we visited local lochs, Glenmore reindeer, steam railway and Landmark Adventureland. We had everything we needed in the cottage and wonderful surprise of visiting badgers and a stoat.

  • "Warm and cosy house in its own gardens."

Very comfortable beds and lots of hot water. Very useful garage for the bikes. Lots of lovely walks in the area. Coal and logs supplied for the fire which was most welcome. Bird feeders were an added bonus as we saw woodpeckers and my husband saw a badger on the road outside the house.

  • "This house was perfect for us, both the location and the spacious house itself."

As a minor matter, the map link wasn't accurate and in fact the house was in a better location than the map showed. The directions however were accurate.

  • "The property is in a quiet hamlet, with wildlife on the doorstep."

We have not really been out and about for over a year and the property felt safe and relaxing, a great return to holidays and the wonderful Cairngorm region. The supply of fresh eggs from the small holding opposite was a real benefit that we enjoyed.

It is very comfortable throughout and we particularly appreciated the bright and very well equipped kitchen/ dining area. Street of Kincardine is an ideal location for exploring the beautiful Strathspey area and all the outdoor activities offered nearby.

In fact we have already booked the same cottage for next year. I like the £20 deposit option and the fact that the holiday can be paid off in chunks as an when some extra cash is available!

Appreciated all the extras: welcome pack and fire kit. Enjoyed watching all the birds (beautiful woodpeckers) feeding at the garden feeders. Owners very helpful too. A great holiday thanks.

We self cater about four times a year and have a hit list of requirements and these were extremely well met at Millview. The accessible garage was ideal for our bike storage plus the property has loads of storage space in the utility room for cycling/hiking equipment and lots of coat hooks essential for wet outdoor gear. The kitchen is well equipped including a hand towel (very few provide a towel in the kitchen) the lounge comfy with the added bonus of an open fire. Bedrooms fine with good bed linen and fluffy large towels in the bathroom and plenty hot water. The sitting area outside is very nice with the added bonus of a canopy over the area which provided welcome shade the week we visited 27 degrees! We enjoyed being able to cycle directly from the house to Loch Garten, Boat of Garten to Aviemore along cycle route 7. There are many more routes some of which we explored Speyside Way to Kincraig with a visit to The Old Post Office a lovely cafe then back via Loch Insh to Aviemore. A splendid property in a quiet area but all facilities are easily accessible.

  • "It was a well equipped and spacious property, we all enjoyed it."

The temperature external was quite cold at times, but the central heating was excellent and we didn't need to start the open fire! Great location for exploring the area as well, it is just far enough out of town to enjoy the peace and calm, but still get access to amenities. Thoroughly enjoyed!!
