  • "The cabin is absolutely beautiful and In a great location to visit the highlands and is also very quiet which is nice."

Great pub down the road the Cawdor tavern which I would strongly recommend. We had a problem with the oven on the first night which was sat and this got resolved on tue morning which was a bit of a pain but the owners did everything they could to help. The hot tub was a little disappointing as the top was broke so couldn’t open it properly and the entire thing had to come off which was really heavy and then it had to be strapped down. The lights didn’t work in it either and the jets wouldn’t all work properly.personally I think the owners need to replace this as the lodge is advertised as 5* And that isn’t what I expected. The signal on the TV was really bad also which we thought was the weather at first but even on a good day it was terrible. The wind is really bad where the hottub is situated so I think it would be much better with a windbreaker up or something around it as we didn’t stay in it or use it as much as we intended due to this reason which was a shame. The underfloor heating was lovely. Overall the cabin was very comfy and we would definitely recommend and despite a few problems we would definitely return.

  • "Booking the holiday and handling the administration, payments etc was very easy and professional."

The lodge was a perfect base to enjoy the sights and experiences of the Highlands. Exactly as described and rated A good location within easy driving distance of many of the main attractions yet secluded with no overlooking Facilities within the lodge were ideal for self catering with a well equipped and spacious kitchen. A high level of comfort with the added attraction of the hot tub and sauna. We are experienced holiday makers both at home and abroad. This is by far the best lodge we have ever stayed in and we would like to return to it another time.

  • "I booked a long weekend away at the Atlas lodge with my partner, 11 month old daughter, 6 of our friends and our friends 2 year old daughter."

The holiday was great from start to finish. It was very easy to book and we received a large amount of really helpful information including what to do in the local area and good restuarants nearby. When we arrived the first thing we noticed was how clean the lodge was. It was well stocked with cleaning products and we were given some large local eggs and homemade jam which was a real treat! Everyones rooms were fit for purpose with comfortable beds, maybe a bit too comfortable! A travel cot was provided for us which was one less thing for us to bring, this was greatly appreciated. The hot tub and sauna kept the adults occupied whilst the kids had run of the house playing games and watching cartoons or out watching the sheep in the fields. We all had a brilliant time and would thoroughly recommend the lodge. Thank you to Jo, Michelle and Simon for all the help and for making our stay at Blue Sky Cottages so pleasant.

It was a lovely quiet retreat, while also being perfectly located to get out and explore the highlands. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and sauna in the evening, as it was the perfect place to watch the sun go down (at 11pm!) I can't recommend this property enough and hope to revisit it one day!
