  • "Dail Na Seilg is a delightfully spacious and well equipped holiday home that had everything we could possibly need."

It was the perfect place to relax after a busy day, with the lovely sunroom as well as the lounge with wood burner to keep you warm on those chilly days. It is well located for exploring the Cairngorms and beyond. We highly recommend it as a great place to stay.

  • "We had a wonderful time whilst staying at your property."

The location is ideal for the shops and walking areas, wild cat trail was fun. The washing machine, tumble drier and ironing board came in very handy and was a blessing to have there. The slay beds are really comfortable and lovely. The other amenity’s are also brilliant. We very much enjoyed our stay and would book again. PS seeing and feeding the ducks was also a highlight of our stay. Thank you The Smith and Bloom Family.

  • "Fantastic property really well equipped and we had a brilliant stay there."

Putting my health and safety hat on, my only concern is the HOT tap in the kitchen. This really needs a control valve on the tap to make sure no one scalds themselves. Signs are behind tap and not obvious at first.

  • "We had a great 2 nights in Dail na Seilg."

There were 7 of us in the group. It was very comfortable and very well equipped. We were out on the hills so it was a really pleasant place to come back to. Also a great location to get to the hills.

  • "Cottage was great though welcome info not accurate."

Never did find the thermostat, so couldn't control the heating. Bed too soft, though this a personal issue. Would book again, as location was great for us. Close to Laggan Wolftrax, and garage storage for bikes was great!

  • "Heating and bath hot water timing not under control of people occupying the property."

On Friday shower was cold and for unknown reason heating came on when not required. Floor boards in shower room were very noisy when walked on. At night this was loud to wake people in all bedrooms (very poor indeed). Property was in other aspects good and location ideal for exploring the countryside.

  • "Amazing house actually better than expected!"

Beautiful, clean and very comfortable great for big family or multiples for a fun getaway. Surprised when we found a high chair, kids cutlery and plateware, stair gate and big bucket of toys. It was a jack pot for a family with three littles, they should list that in amenities because it’s a huge draw. Great location, easy to go out about to surrounding areas for the day. Only 10 minute walk from the small town with great coffee shops etc. Only downfall was communication with the management. Had to pay after booking by opening an account not just booking through vrbo, never for an confirmation email but was able to chase down through the website, had to ask for the horns address the night before we left and received a welcome email packed with pre arrival tips at 4am the morning after we had arrived. Amazing house not so great management company. Gemma

Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Couldn’t ask for more. Great location to explore Newtonmore and a perfect spot to head off for watersports and walking.

  • "Situated in a quiet residential area within easy walking distance of the pubs, restaurants/cafés and shops."

Very comfortable and well equipped although the listing states there is a tumble dryer, we couldn't find it. Great to have the log burner in the living room. Just the 2 of us so we were a bit lost in all the space! It was excellent in every way. Within 20 miles of all sorts of outdoor activities and excellent walking. Loved it!

  • "Lovely house and ideally situated."

Only thing to mention is that we couldn't make use of the sun room. Only one sofa and what looked like patio furniture stacked in the other end. Unable for the 4 of us to sit in there. Shame as it was a lively room in the sunshine.

  • "I’ve just arrived home after staying a week in this absolutely gorgeous house… there was 6 of us including a wee 10 month old baby ."

Location is just perfect, For water sports, lots of kid activities close by. The house: most importantly the beds are all super comfy with pure white 100% cotton covers, spotless clean. Showers are super hot and a great water pressure. Kitchen is well equipped (I’m a baker) took a bag of my own equipment which I didn’t need to as all was there. The sun room was our toy room, a massive box of toys lay in corner … the excitement that caused was awesome… The neighbours are very pleasant and smile lots which was nice .. Only one little thing
