  • "We, four adults and two children, stayed for a week commencing Friday 1 April."

The house was really good and I would no hesitation in recommending it to family and friends. Just a pity that the hot tub is going away, which was the initial attraction to the property

  • "We had a lovey weekend in Burnside house."

Only thing to mention was the oven glove needs replacing; big hole caused burn to my mum’s hand! Otherwise everything was great.

  • "Thanks for a lovely stay."

House was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Great location. Everything we hoped for. Many thanks for the bottle of wine too. It was very much appreciated.

Thanks Ken. So glad you had a great stay. Isla Property Owner

  • "Excellent house with high spec finish everywhere."

Well stocked kitchen, lovely bedding and super-cosy; wood burning stove not needed for heat but always great for winter nights … especially after a hot tub soak. We didn’t have our dog on this trip but impressive consideration to dog friendly garden etc. if there is a downside, you are a good distance from the centre but the quiet, countryside feel makes up for that! Highly recommend staying at Burnside.

So glad you had a lovely stay at the house and thanks so much for such positive feedback. Property Owner

  • "A lovely, comfortable house in a beautiful location."

It has everything you could need and more. My only complaint is that the bed in the main bedroom is very uncomfortable and really needs a new mattress. We had to put our own memory foam topper on ( from our Campervan ) but it was still uncomfortable.

  • "Burnside house was everything we needed and more for our family holiday."

We had everything we needed for our two dogs and two children. The house was immaculate and a great place to unwind warm up and relax after a days outing or adventure. The Hot tub was cleaned on the Wednesday and checked over. Which we were very happy with. The home reflected the beutiful town of aviemore and the amazing scenery. So happy we will be booking again

We had a lovely time at burnside house, the only small complaint is the Main Bedroom Bed I could feel the springs through the mattress so I used a duvet from the other room to sleep on, so a mattress topper might be useful Thanks

  • "Very good accommodation."

Good kitchen with plenty of appliances and I appreciated the gesture of the bottle of wine left for me . Very kind .Only comment I would make is, that I would like to have recycled food waste and paper etc. but there was no specific bins for this like I have at home. The blue bins that were there were full and overflowing and I actually tidied up discarded rubbish left around the bins after they were emptied on bin collection day. It looks as if the bins hadn't been emptied the week before and people had just left cardboard boxes and other stuff lying beside them. I had a very good holiday and the area was really quiet and peaceful despite most of the surrounding houses being occupied. I would recommend Burnside House.
