  • "Sorry we forgot to write in the visitor's book."

I had meant to as our stay was excellent! Putting aside the wonderful location, the accommodation was very clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The owners clearly put a lot of effort into maintaining the upkeep of this lovely cottage. The information book was very informative and up to date. A great win were the swings, games room and golf clubs! The children loved these! The only 2 minor things worth mentioning was a lack of hairdryer in the downstairs bedroom (presumably it has migrated somewhere else) and I could not find a peeler- again presumably this has migrated somewhere else! I would highly recommend this cottage to friends and family and would definitely return again. It seemed to have the personal and loved touch which is important for me and my family. I appreciated the handwritten card for us and the milk to get us started! Thank you so much!

So pleased that you had a wonderful stay and found the cottage clean and comfortable. It's lovely to hear that the guest information folder was useful and that your children enjoyed the swings, games room and golf clubs. With regards to the hairdryers there should have been two for Hazel, one in the upstairs double bedroom and one in the downstairs bedroom so I apologise if this wasn't the case. With regards to the peeler, we were unaware that it had gone missing so again apologies, we have spares so would have been very happy to have dropped one round to you. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a lovely review. Property Owner

  • "We really enjoyed our stay."

The quality of the finish in the apartment was high standard. The beds were particularly comfortable. The kitchen and living space very nice. The slight drawbacks were the proximity of neighbours and the major A9 road.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback, it is much appreciated. So pleased you and your family enjoyed your stay here and found the cottage of a high standard and the beds comfortable. Property Owner

  • "We had the perfect week."

The cottage had everything you could think of and more! It was welcoming and cozy with a nice fenced in court yard for the dog and a lovely garden beyond to explore. The walks from the cottage were great and very picturesque which made you feel like you were in the middle of no where but actually were not far from the A9 making it a perfect base to explore the cairngorms. We would definitely go back! Highly recommend.

Thank you for leaving such lovely feedback. It's lovely to hear that the cottage had everything you needed and was welcoming and cosy. So pleased you enjoyed the surrounding area too. Kind regards, Adam & Leanne Property Owner

We saw a herd of deer up on the hill at dusk and had some great walks. The cottage was very comfortable and well decorated and we lit the woodburner a couple of times. The owners were friendly and helpful when we were using the washing machine.

Thank you for leaving such a lovely review. So pleased that you and your family enjoyed your stay here and loved using the gym. Great to hear that you got to see the deer and had some lovely walks. Property Owner
