"What we most liked was the lack of any noise of cars etc."
It is hundreds of yards from any main road. Wonderful place. The inside not very large but everything you need is present. The outside is spacious and private.

"Beautifully appointed accommodation and very a peaceful place to stay."
Would definitely recommend The Bothy. Great location too offering flexibility to go either east or west depending on the weather (this was one of the main reasons I chose it)
-
"Bed and seating not too comfortable (for a couple in their middle 70s with arthritic bones!"
!) Left one day early as needed a good night's sleep. Rather difficult to find anywhere close enough or open for an evening meal. Having said that the cottage is very well equipped and very clean
-

Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Very private and suited our ‘get away from it all’ experience. Best of both worlds, ideally located to explore the Black Isle and beyond.

"The holiday at the Bothy was very good."
The customer service from Sykes was not. I acknowledge that these are strange times but I received a few emails from Sykes giving confusing messages and I received NO responses to the many messages I sent. It was impossible to get through by telephone. On the last day of the holiday I received an email from Sykes offering me 2 choices: a partial refund or a full refund. I could ONLY use the online portal to choose, I was told NOT to contact Sykes by any other method. I have until 21 August to make a choice, neither of which applies to me. Thank goodness the property owner has helped. I could go on but I won’t.
-
"I have already recommended Sykes to family members"
