The property

This pretty stone cottage is situated in a private location on a working farm, two miles from Carrbridge and commands stunning views across the Cairngorm Mountain range.

Very tastefully presented with excellent attention to detail this cottage is ideal for a family or group of friends, who will love the unspoilt beauty of the area and the vast array of activities that can be enjoyed close by.

A large entrance porch gives access into the property and can be used to store your muddy boots.

On the ground floor there is a king-size double bedroom along with both a bathroom and a shower room.

The sitting room, with its warming woodburning stove, is a cosy and relaxing space to gather at the end of an active day.

The well-equipped kitchen and dining area is perfect for enjoying home-cooked meals together.

The upper floor with its cottage style ceilings has two further nicely presented bedrooms.

A private garden surrounds the house and from here you can soak in the full vista of the famous Cairngorms and even enjoy a barbecue in the summer months.

With Carrbridge a short drive away offering good local services, the villages of Boat of Garten and the larger village of Grantown-on-Spey are also nearby.

Both have a friendly ambience and excellent shopping opportunities.

Boat of Garten, also known as the Osprey village, is ideal for walking and cycling and is close to RSPB Loch Garten, home of the Ospreys amidst ancient pinewoods and tranquil lochs.

So much is available in this area with Aviemore and the surrounding area brimming with outdoor pursuits and wildlife opportunities.

This cottage and location complement each other, ensuring a fabulous holiday for all.
