    “Great place to stay.”

Location is amazing on a farm land with a great view and the surroundings are a wonder. The cottage is a nice and cozy place with plenty of facilities to cook, relax and have a good old yarn. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a small group of people to stay.

The cottage

Nestled on the outskirts of the bustling town of Nairn, in the Scottish Highlands, is this delightful detached property.

Internally, this cottage benefits from an open-plan living space, with a welcoming sitting room offering a range of sofas and armchairs to relax and unwind upon, with a large wall-mounted TV providing the entertainment.

The dining area has seating for eight people and is the perfect spot to enjoy a lovely home-cooked meal as a family.

The kitchen has ample space for preparing your meals, with all the appliances you could possibly need to cook up a storm for the whole family.

The ground floor is also home to a twin bedroom and a family shower room, ideal for those with limited mobility.

Continuing to impress with its two en-suite bathrooms on the first floor, adjacent to a super king-size and double bedroom, both with zip and link features and can be made into twins upon request - whatever your group type, this property can accommodate you.

As the property sits in the grounds of the owners home, it has access to a spacious lawned garden and gravelled area, where you can sit out and enjoy the open countryside air of a morning.

Those travelling with younger guests will benefit from visiting Nairn Beach, an expansive coastal area, with golden sands and clear waters - take turns building sandcastles, enjoying a lovely swim, or play a variety of beach games, as well as making full use of the play equipment available.

For a spot of history, take a trip toward Nairn Museum, with exhibits and archives on the local history and a convenient play area.

Situated in a rural setting, this property has access to many pathways for walking and cycling, so those keen active types can enjoy stunning views along the way.

Kennel Cottage is the place to be for those who enjoy the secluded countryside.

About the location

NAIRN

Inverness 16 miles.

Nairn is an attractive and lively seaside town dating back to Victorian times. It has long been a popular holiday destination and is just 16 miles from the town of Inverness. Nairn even lays claim to being one of the driest and sunniest places in the country! The town offers some of the top beaches in Scotland and cleanest bathing waters in Britain. Also, one of the only two dolphin colonies in the UK is based in the Moray Firth. Nairn is steeped in history and is closely linked with the Battle of Culloden, whilst nearby Fort George is Europe’s best preserved 18th century military fortification. Shakespeare’s famed Cawdor Castle and Brodie Caste are both within 15 mins drive. Golfing enthusiasts will be attracted to the two 18-hole championship courses, including the Nairn Golf Club, and the town also has an outdoor tennis court as well as a squash court for hire. The yearly Nairn Highland Games in August draws a wide crowd and The Nairn Book and Arts Festival is a popular year event. Whitewater rafting, tubing and cliff jumping are all available for those with a spirit for adventure. Day trips from the local airport are available to Orkney and Shetland and the Cairngorm National Park with skiing and hiking are within 1 hour. Nairn is an ideal centre for exploring, or just relaxing.
