“Very clean, cosy, well equipped, dog-friendly, exceeded expectations”
We stayed in both cottages, the first week in no. 2, then in no. 1. Both cottages felt very much like a home away from home and were very clean. It was very quiet there and it is possible to see the sea from some of the upper windows. It is only a 3 mins drive to the beautiful beach. The large kitchen is well equipped and has a proper kitchen table with four chairs, an oven, a microwave, a fridge and freezer, a dishwasher and a de gusto coffee machine. The goodies, that we found when we arrived were very much appreciated - thank you very much George and Baiba for these. These included milk, butter, bread, jam, fruit and more. We also found oil, salt, pepper, plenty of de Gusto coffee and tea as well as some other goodies. George was most helpful with advice and directions without being obtrusive. We will miss our few chats. The sitting room with open beams had a comfy sofa and two comfy chairs with foot stools as well as a wood burning stove. All rooms had well functioning radiators and the en-suite bathrooms were beautiful and the well working towel rail was much appreciated. There was even a dog bed and bowls in case that you had forgotten your own. The dog walking area is large and our dog enjoyed it. We hope to be back soon.
