“Beautiful cottage in a great location to access North and West coasts.”
Only issues we would mention are: Wood burning stove takes a long time to heat radiators, but there are plenty of electrical heaters as back up. As described the bedrooms have very restricted headroom, but you get used to it! We had a great holiday despite poor weather. Enjoy....

“Returned to Bravaal for a second visit and enjoyed it just as much as first time round.”
The cottage is in a lovely setting with beautiful views , and has an attractive well tended garden with a variety of garden birds. The secure fencing , provision of kennels and a crate meant that our elderly Collie cross was able to come along and enjoy the holiday too. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed and more and we loved relaxing on the comfy sofas in front of the woodburner. I had wondered whether our vehicle would make it up the track in Autumn, as we no longer have a 4x4 but as the weather was mainly dry we were lucky and had no problems. We definately hope to return. Angela John and Buttons ( Collie x)- Miss Clissett, October 2018
“Loved our time at the cottage.”
Drove to some beautiful places and had a wonderful week including a castle with falconry display, hiking a few munros, a lovely evening meal at The Pier in Lairg (Fri&Sat only), and a few drinks at the Cask Inn. Cottage well catered for with plenty wood for the wood burner, just needed to buy some salt, pepper & olive oil. Our dog loved the garden.- Mrs Chevreuil, October 2018
“Excellent cottage in a great location, only a couple of things to mention.”
If you are over 5’10” you won’t be able to use the shower standing up and the same with the bed rooms and upstairs door ways, the description mentions sloping ceilings but not the height in the middle. All in all a good cottage in a great area with everything you’d need provided. The track up to the cottage is easily manageable if you take your time, we have s low slung car and managed even after the wettest of days. Would recommend and would return- Mr Hewitt, September 2018
“We chose this location to explore the North-West making day trips and because we were taking our two dogs with us on holiday.”
In both ways this was a good choice. The cottage is very comfortable and the garden, which we could enjoy thanks to the good weather, is great. On top of that there are beautiful walks close by. We can certainly recommend this cottage for peace and quiet and for those who like to spend their vacation with their dog(s)- Mr Jurgens, August 2018
“A lovely little cottage in a beautiful area - perfect for a week away.”
Our 2 large dogs were very safe and happy in the large, well fenced garden - which gave us peace of mind and enhanced our break. Perfect place to take your pooch!- Mrs Hanlon, August 2018
“The garden is lovely - lots of room for the dog and perfect place to sit and relax.”- Miss Adams, July 2018

We can't wait to go back!- Mr Dow, July 2018

“Loved the area and were pleased about how warm the cottage was!”
The driveway is a bit difficult to get up if you don't know about the mud though.- Dr Martin, April 2017
“If you have dogs then this place ticks all the boxes!”- Mr Lovick, April 2017
