  • "A very nice little cottage, within a lovely wee village."

We based our selves here to tour the North Coast.

  • "Fridge had no light or door storage(broken), kitchen flooring was damaged, kitchen walls were marked and dirty, some kitchen cupboard door knobs missing, replaced shower cubicle tiles were unfinished, cracked floor tiles, no cover on shower drain, shower cubicle door handle corroding, bathroom sink drain plunger broken, no instructions re bins, how to leave bedding etc."

Generally the cottage needs some tlc. We have rented cottages through you before and have been very happy but this was very disappointing and expensive in comparison!

  • "It was a great cottage that we stayed in and during the day travelled to visit areas we wanted to see."

Near to the cottage is a great shop where we could buy our meals and cook them in the cottage. It was great to relax and eat them.

  • "The property was very clean and location good however I have some concerns about things that could easily be rectified."

There was no information sheet or instructions on where power switches were for the shower, cooker etc or any other essential information. The bathroom tiles are badly cracked and will harbour germs. Kitchen needs new sealant at back of sink splashback, lino floor cracked. The toilet seat was broken. The cold water tap in the kitchen was very hard to turn on and when managed it the tap made a high vibrating, thudding noise. There were other areas and overall I rate the property tired and needs some TLC, not worth the money paid. The neighbours at Number 2 were very friendly and helpful, a delightful couple.

  • "The cottage was nice and clean."

It does need a bit of TLC. The kitchen was well stock but the cabinet door was missing, the fridge water dispenser leaked all over the kitchen floor, the cold water pipe made a really funny noise. And the master bedroom bed needs to be replace. The patio chairs also need replacing. But most of all they need to write a mad with diagrams to show where the cottage is situated. It took us ½ hrs to find it, and it is a very small village. We did have a peaceful and nice time. It is close to a lot of visitors attraction, but a lot are closed. You can still find some stuff to do.

We had a nice comfortable stay and would recommend to others. We were appreciative of the owner letting us bring the cat as we are waiting to move into our new home.

Some great properties to choose from. Description was very accurate. A very comfortable home from home cottage which the whole family enjoyed. Contact from the owner was great too, key collection easy and a nice welcome text/departure text.
