The property

A beautifully presented holiday lodge resting in the seaside resort of Dornoch, Blue Pine Lodge offers contemporary accommodation for a group of up to 4 people from which to explore the wonders of Dornoch and beyond.

All on the ground floor, this stylish holiday home makes a wonderful, remote escape at any time of year.

Enter past your private decking and step into the beautiful open-plan living space, lighting up the woodburning stove in the winter months to bring in a welcoming warmth as you settle down on the sofa for the evening.

Sit around the spacious kitchen island for mealtimes, where the farmhouse-style kitchen presents a good range of amenities for your self-catered stay, as well as plenty of preparation space and room to toast to your terrific holiday between courses.

When it comes time to rest, make your way to the rear of the cottage where the two good quality bedrooms invite you to unwind, taking your pick from either the master double or the equally attractive twin, each room offering ample storage space as well as a stylish feel, giving you the ultimate contemporary accommodation.

Enjoy a rejuvenating rinse in the shower room each morning, before stepping out onto the decking with your morning coffee as you sit amongst the fresh coastal breeze.

Dornoch is the perfect place to base to base your remote retreat, with plenty of amenities to keep you entertained on your travels including a good variety of shops and eateries, the Historylinks Museum with its variety of exhibits for all ages, a 13th century cathedral and imposing castle and even the Royal Dornoch Golf Course which was voted fourth in the world in 2020 by Golf Digest, there's so much to explore on your doorstep.

Enjoy time relaxing on the beach of the town, which is only a 10-15 minute walk from the property, being sure to bring your wetsuit in cooler weather, or simply take a stroll along the golden sands and observe the beautiful seascapes and surrounding nature.

Take a trio to Loch Fleet for a spot of seal watching and further afield dolphin watching in the Moray Firth.

In the neighbouring village of Golspie, you can visit Dunrobin Castle as well as taking part in the Big Burn Walk.

Inverness can be reached via a scenic car journey and presents a whole host of fantastic attractions, including an indoor Victorian Market selling food, clothing and crafts, River Ness and the Castle, scenic strolls around the Ness Islands, distillery tours in Tain and much more.

Perfectly positioned for an idyllic escape to the Highlands, choose Blue Pine Lodge for your next escape to Scotland.
