  • "Had an amazing break at Kullbery, which was well appointed and had everything we needed."

Very peaceful location but plenty to do nearby.

  • "The chalet/cottage is set nicely in a grove of established woodland and attracts a variety of birds."

This was both a blessing and hindrance as the 'seclusion' made it hard to see the property from the road on arrival. If we had a minor grumble it was actually finding the access road which was not clearly marked and indeed we had to ask a neighbour if we were near. We have since taken this up with the owner and understand a new signboard is to be fitted. We also sent GPS data to be used. All equipment worked well, (we never tested the TV as we take holidays to leave such things behind.). Perhaps the Electric Hob is nearing the end of its useful life and could be replaced for next season? Kitchen equipment and utensils, crockery all to a high standard. We liked it.

  • "The key collection was a tad confusing, I personally think a property that takes 4 adults needs a toilet separate from the bathroom."

  • "Absolutely loved it, Very Clean, Everything worked, Could do with a small sign on the entrance as its easy to miss in the dark."

    But loved it.

  • "The chalet itself was excellent and we were delighted when we were visited by both a roe deer and a red squirrel."

(Within two metres of the chalet) We put nuts on a stump adjacent to the decking and as a result were visited by numerous birds including a tree creeper on the stump and we saw up to four buzzards regularly whilst sitting outside. We were a little disappointed by the television reception as we could only get one channel well enough to watch. Now there is cable in the area it might be a good idea to suggest to the owners that they connect the chalet. It may be that they decide not to, and at the price they ask, we can well understand that as it is very good value for money. We really enjoyed our stay there, and the owners were very helpful.

  • "A lovely cottage in great surroundings."

Had a homely feel and was cosy and warm. The double bed was so comfortable and firm enough for my back. If I have a criticism I feel twin beds would be better than bunks in the other bedroom and a shower would’ve better than a bath as it was no use for someone with limited mobility. Apart from this I would recommend it

We used as a base to travel around the area and really could not fault it at all. There is so much to see and do in the surrounding area. We will be back.

Being off road meant it was very peaceful and safe. Local walk from door. Good location for visiting Loch Insh, Loch an Eilein, Ruthven Barracks and the Landmark Centre (Carrbridge). Owners very helpful about the workings of the property and with advice about places to visit and eat in the local area.
