  • "My wife and me had a great time during our stay in Inverness."

It's not to far away from all the sights so you can walk everywhere and it is calm so you get a good night rest. It's perfect for a couple.

  • "The location of the apartment is quite central - 15 min walk from Inverness center."

The apartment has Lots of space and is well equipped. Especially the washing machine with integrated dryer is very comfortable. The bathroom will need some renovention, especially the surrounding of the bathtub and the Not closing window.

  • "The property was lovely, and Inverness well worth a visit, the main problem was with the downstairs neighbour who was too noisy at times and as I got away on holiday to relax I wish I hadn't bothered."

I feel the neighbour problem should be listed in the Sykes description of the property out of respect to your customers.

  • "We had such a great stay at this apartment!"

It was perfect for our needs - amazing location, very well equipped, and spotlessly clean. Thank you to Lyndsay for her gracious hosting.

  • "Despite a rocky start, where the property was not clean, so we had to wait for cleaners and then cleaning process, we managed to enjoy our break."

We had to contact the owner regarding the hot water for the bath, the oven not being secured and the fact that the cooker was an induction hob wasn’t clear. We had to work out the recycling and rubbish bin location ourselves. Owner should make this clear in instructions. Also property could benefit from corkscrew opener and the knives being sharpened.

About the location

INVERNESS

North Kessock 5.9 miles; Dores 9.2 miles; Tomatin 15.5 miles.

The Capital of the Highlands, the city of Inverness, is the gateway to the countless delights of the Highlands of Scotland. Towering mountains, dark lochs, great forests and precipitous sea cliffs are all within easy reach. Of particular note is the legendary Loch Ness, which is surrounded by some truly breathtaking scenery, although most visitors are usually on the lookout for something a bit more mysterious! Just outside the city is the Culloden Battlefield at Culloden Moor (National Trust). The site of the last major battle fought on British soil, there is an award-winning display depicting the battle, whilst a walk on the field serves as a poignant reminder of the clansmen who lost their lives. Inverness itself has much to offer, museums, an art gallery, fine theatre and leisure facilities, not to mention shops, pubs and restaurants. The River Ness flows through the city and both the river and neighbouring Moray Firth are home to a diverse range of wildlife and marine life including red kites, along with dolphins, which can sometimes be seen from the shore, or on trips from the harbour.
