  • "It was a fabulous experience and I look forward to booking my next holidays again with you, just the price is a bit expensive but overall a great experience."

  • "A lovely apartment."

Very well presented. Like others have commented the oven was a bit of a mystery but we did get it to work. Would have been nice to have had tea making kit (tea, coffee, sugar milk) which does seem to be standard in other places that we have stayed but this wasn't a massive issue. If we visit these parts again we would certainly see if it was avilable.

  • "I chose the Great Glen for a 3 generation holiday with an elderly parent."

It was a fantastic location in Inverness for exploring the area. The Great Glen looked fantastic with lovely furnishings and hi-tec gizmos, unfortunately there were no instructions on how these worked! A Smart TV was provided but no freesat available and not all apps worked. The facilities needed some attention, large hall rugs not secure on wooden floors so had to be lifted immediately, slipping toilet seats, no non slip mat in shower, broken dishwasher, very leaky kitchen sink, loose glass topped coffee table with loo paper under glass to stop it moving and not enough pillows. I had to contact agent most days, plumber promised but never arrived. Owner uninterested in my concerns when i spoke to him. I have sent comprehensive complaint to Sykes once home as advised but I have not had any response.

  • "Apartment was in immaculate condition and is generally very well-equipped and stylishly furnished."

It’s in a great location for touring the Highlands. A handful of minor niggles, which probably reflect the fact that the place is brand new: an odd selection of glasses (2 wine, 2 gin, 2 champagne.) We ended up buying and leaving a full set of six wine glasses. The master suite is really well appointed, although you can’t plug in one of the bedside lamps. The flat could do with some more storage in Bedrooms 2 and especially Bedroom 3 which currently has only a bed and a writing desk. And why put a bath mat in the main bathroom and not one in the en-suite? Future guests may also want to know that the apartment is part of a new development on which construction work is continuing. The builders seemed very considerate and there were only low levels of noise from the site.

  • "Excellent base to explore the Scottish Highlands."

There is some building work on site but this did not bother us at all and could not be seen from the apartment. Superb apartment finished off to a very high spec.

It was just a little further out of Inverness than we expected.

  • "The apartment was fantastic."

The only problems were not enough storage in the other 2 bedrooms and we would have liked better instructions for the kitchen appliances because you need the model code to access the instructions on the QR code. Everything else provided in the kitchen was well thought out and much appreciated. Will definitely use your company again.

  • Tomatin 15.5 miles

The Capital of the Highlands, the city of Inverness, is the gateway to the countless delights of the Highlands of Scotland. Towering mountains, dark lochs, great forests and precipitous sea cliffs are all within easy reach. Of particular note is the legendary Loch Ness, which is surrounded by some truly breathtaking scenery, although most visitors are usually on the lookout for something a bit more mysterious! Just outside the city is the Culloden Battlefield at Culloden Moor (National Trust). The site of the last major battle fought on British soil, there is an award-winning display depicting the battle, whilst a walk on the field serves as a poignant reminder of the clansmen who lost their lives. Inverness itself has much to offer, museums, an art gallery, fine theatre and leisure facilities, not to mention shops, pubs and restaurants. The River Ness flows through the city and both the river and neighbouring Moray Firth are home to a diverse range of wildlife and marine life including red kites, along with dolphins, which can sometimes be seen from the shore, or on trips from the harbour.
