The property

An extremely well-presented, semi-detached stone cottage, ideally situated in the friendly town of Kingussie in the stunning Cairngorms National Park.

Tastefully-appointed throughout, this light and contemporary Cairngorms cottage is ideal for families and friends who will appreciate the convenient location of their holiday cottage and enjoy time together in the fabulous Scottish Highlands.

With the spacious accommodation over two floors there are three bedrooms, one at ground floor level.

The kitchen/dining room in this Kingussie cottage has the 'wow' factor with its high-gloss, black tiled floor, complete with underfloor heating and, mixing old with new, the original range fire is still in place, making a pleasing feature.

The sitting room is a large, bright room with spacious sofas and a traditional fireplace housing a welcoming woodburner to be enjoyed on the cooler days.

At the rear of this Cairngorms cottage is a private garden that is terraced and accessed via stone steps that lead up to a large decked area from which views across to the mountains can be appreciated and perhaps a perfect spot for a quiet, pre-dinner drink too!

The friendly village of Kingussie has great facilities and award-winning eateries, all within a short stroll of this cottage.

Surrounded by stunning landscape, where sports of every kind can be enjoyed, from cycling to skiiing, wildlife watching, golf and fishing to watersports, walking and much more, there is truly something for everyone at any age.

A wonderful place and the perfect Kingussie cottage to be enjoyed throughout the year.

About the location

Aviemore 12 miles.

Situated in the glorious Cairngorms National Park, Kingussie attracts visitors all year round. The town has a fine selection of hotels, shops and restaurants, as well as being home to one of Scotland's most beautiful golf courses. At the award-winning Highland Folk Museum, just 2 miles from Kingussie, demonstrations of traditional crafts take place most days during the summer months in the ‘streets’ of the village-like grounds. Just 12 miles south of Aviemore it is also a popular winter destination for skiers along with the Lecht, with skiing and snowboarding for all abilities. Visit Dalwhinnie, where you can tour Scotland's highest distillery and have the mysteries of whisky making explained (and purchase a bottle!) or go to the Highland Wildlife Park, and explore the habitat walks and be amazed at the wolf territory and a diverse collection of Highland wildlife. An excellent location to tour this attractive part of the Central Highlands, with many of the main attractions an easy drive away.
