The property

Situated on a quiet street in the village of Kirkhill near Inverness is 25 Aird Crescent, a contemporary ground-floor apartment situated within a block of four.

This property is ideal for a couple or small family looking for adventure in the Scottish Highlands, within easy reach of the city of Inverness, Moray Firth and the Cairngorms National Park.

Ample off-road parking is available at the front of the property, where there is also a small gravelled garden area you can make good use of, before entering the property into the hallway and hanging up your coat and leaving your boots in the storage cupboard, before making your way into the open-plan living space.

The village of Muir of Oid boasts a famous whisky distillery, where you can sample this locally produced spirit and embark on a guided tour, as well as an excellent selection of quality shops, pubs and restaurants and a golf club.

The city of Inverness, known as the gateway to the Highlands, is nine miles away, and home to a host of wonderful restaurants, as well as a botanic garden, golf club, museum, art gallery and imposing castle, where you can uncover the rich history of the area.

The River Ness flows through the city and both this and the neighbouring Moray Firth are home to a diverse range of wildlife and marine life, including red kites and dolphins, which can be seen on boat trips from the harbour, or if you're lucky enough, from the shore.

The Culloden Battlefield at the Culloden Moor, a National Trust area and the site of the last major battle fought on British soil, is also well worth a visit, where you'll find an award-winning display depicting the battle.

The towering mountains, dark lochs and great forests of the magnificent Cairngroms National Park is a 45-minute drive away, perfect for exploring on foot or bicycle.
