“From booking to leaving, the communication from both Sykes and the owner of the cottage has been fantastic.”

Easy to understand instructions emailed and left at cottage. Pre arrival call from owner to double check details and ask if any special requirements. As a single traveller, the cottage was perfect size for me, and would easily take a family of three. ...

Easy to understand instructions emailed and left at cottage. Pre arrival call from owner to double check details and ask if any special requirements. As a single traveller, the cottage was perfect size for me, and would easily take a family of three. Upon arrival the cottage was warm, a small welcome gift had been left and immediately felt at home. Location is great. I arrived on public transport and the cottage is approx. ten mins walk from drop off point. Well equipped kitchen. Bed was amazing and the duvets etc very cosy. I will be booking in again!!

The property

A cosy semi-detached cottage ideally situated within very close proximity to the excellent services and facilities of Aviemore.

Located in a quiet and friendly residential area, this delightful cottage is ideal for a small family or group of friends who want to embrace the fantastic array of outdoor pursuits available on the doorstep, and soak up the stunning scenery, which makes the Cairngorms National Park a very special place.

This lovely cottage has two bedrooms, consisting of a single bedroom with a convenient en-suite shower cubicle and a spacious double.

The sitting room, with its welcoming open fire, leads through to the bright kitchen/diner where meals can be enjoyed together at the end of an active day.

The rear garden is an ideal spot for a summer evening barbecue or quiet morning coffee whilst planning the day’s events.

The Cairngorms National Park is Britain's largest national park and offers a diverse choice of activities for all ages, with the winter season being as busy as the summer months due to its fabulous skiing opportunities.

A funicular railway runs to the top of the mountain where visitors can join a guided walk or simply enjoy the fabulous views.

Every possible activity is available, from clay pigeon shooting to gorge walking and whitewater rafting!

For wildlife lovers, the area is breathtaking and capercaillies, eagles and pine martens can be easily spotted.

This is a wonderful destination and a great wee cottage to enhance you holiday.
