One of the bedrooms enjoys sea glimpses, and another boasts a dining table that is ideal for those who seek a bit of privacy; all the rooms host power sockets with USB ports, so you can charge any devices you need during your stay.

To the rear of the property, you can find a lovely courtyard, where you can rustle up grilled lunches on the barbecue, grab any bikes from the close-by outhouse to take out to the beach, or simply enjoy a captivating book in the sun.

There are plenty of things to do in Nairn, with children's playgrounds resting by fantastic golf clubs, multiple beaches and an idyllic harbour nearby, along with the fantastic Nairn Museum with ample exhibits, including child-friendly displays; the town also boasts a train station, so you can visit other picturesque locations with ease.

For a day out with a difference, embark on a short drive to Inverness, where the breathaking Inverness Castle, Dolphin Spirit Inverness, Crazy Golf and Inverness Botanic Gardens await; those looking to get back to nature will be especially pleased by the city's Ness Islands and the Merkinch Local Nature Reserve.

About the location

NAIRN

Inverness 16 miles.

Nairn is an attractive and lively seaside town dating back to Victorian times. It has long been a popular holiday destination and is just 16 miles from the town of Inverness. Nairn even lays claim to being one of the driest and sunniest places in the country! The town offers some of the top beaches in Scotland and cleanest bathing waters in Britain. Also, one of the only two dolphin colonies in the UK is based in the Moray Firth. Nairn is steeped in history and is closely linked with the Battle of Culloden, whilst nearby Fort George is Europe’s best preserved 18th century military fortification. Shakespeare’s famed Cawdor Castle and Brodie Caste are both within 15 mins drive. Golfing enthusiasts will be attracted to the two 18-hole championship courses, including the Nairn Golf Club, and the town also has an outdoor tennis court as well as a squash court for hire. The yearly Nairn Highland Games in August draws a wide crowd and The Nairn Book and Arts Festival is a popular year event. Whitewater rafting, tubing and cliff jumping are all available for those with a spirit for adventure.
